Katniss Everdeen is a 15 year old girl, she lives with her uncle Haymitch after her family died in a plane accident. She hasn't been the same since, she doesn't have many friends, maybe like 3 or 4 but thats it. She doesn't leave the house unless she goes to school. She stays in the house moping around, doing nothing really, she likes to sit out her huge garden which is filled with daisys which she picks the petals off everyday.
She likes this boy, Peeta Mellark, But he's one of those popular boys who doesn't notice girls like Katniss. She doesn't let her affection out, she takes it out on daisys, telling herself the same sentence over and over again.
