Today she is very happy and why won't she, finally her long wait is gonna come to an end. After all Sahir is coming to her home for lunch for the first time. Since the day this meeting has been fixed, there were only butterflies in her stomach. And the day has finally arrived when in no time she will be introducing Sahir officially as her boyfriend to her Ammi-Abbu.
She is damn excited as this is gonna be the first meeting of her parents with Sahir, the man she loves. At the same time she is also nervous thinking what will be her parent's reaction, especially her Abbu's.
Will they approve? Or wait what if they don't approve her choice? What if Sahir failed to impress them? What if Abbu wouldn't find Sahir suitable enough for her? What will she do if Abbu rejected Sahir in their first meeting itself?
So many questions in her mind.
"Ammi, unhe ab tk to aa jana chahiye tha. Pata nahi kahan reh gaye h aur humara phone bhi nhi utha rahe h", Zoya spoke after checking her watch for the 18th time.
Today she is wearing her brand new light-blue color salwar-suit having golden work and border all over it. She completed her look with matching dupatta & earrings, looking extremely gorgeous.

"Zoya beta, aapke yun baar baar ghadi dekhne se Sahir jaldi nhi aaenge. Thoda sabr karein, woh kahin traffic me phans gye honge. Aur phir Mumbai ka traffic to hum sab jante h", said Ammi from the kitchen.
"Wase Roshnaq, waakai aaj sooraj kahan se nikla h. Woh Zoya jo sb ko ghanto intezaar krwati h, dekhiye aaj unke liye ek second be intezaar krna kitna bhaari pad rha h", Abbu who was sitting on the sofa commented while checking out his phone.
"Haan haan kar lijiye, aap bhi hume taunt kr lijiye Abbu. Jb hum nikaah kr k chale jayenge na tb aapko pata chlega", Zoya said in a baby voice.
"Dekh rhi hain aap Roshnaq. Abhi tk jiss ladke se hum mile tk nhi unke saath inhone nikaah tk plan kr k rkha h. Kitni jldi h inhe humse peecha chudwane ki", Waseem said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice, his eyes still on his phone.
Hearing her Abbu's words, Zoya comes & sit next to him. Holding his hands she said, "Abbu aisa kabhi nhi ho skta. Aap chahe jitni bhi koshish kr le humse aapka peecha itni jaldi nhi chootne wala hai".
"To mtlb aap zindagi bhar yun hi hamara dimaag khaenge", said Waseem jokingly.
"Abbu", said Zoya while making a cute face & keeping her hands on her waist.
"Aap dono baap-beti ki mazak me dekhiye kab 2 baj gye pata hi nahi chla. Sahir aate hi honge, Zoya beta aap dining table set kr dijiye", coming out from the kitchen Ammi told Zoya.
"Roshnaq aaj rhne dein bhai. Aaj aapki laadli ko kahan fursat hain ki apne Abbu ke liye khana serve kr dein", Waseem said looking at Zoya who is now checking her watch for the 27th time.
"Zoya beta Sahir aa jaenge. Aap to kuch khaa lijiye tb tk. Subah se kuch nhi khaya hai aapne", Ammi told Zoya while setting up the table herself.
"Nahi Ammi, hum Sahir ke saath hi lunch krenge", said Zoya who has not eaten anything since morning in the excitement of Sahir coming to her house for the first time.
Usually she would have had her meal twice by now. Even though she is feeling too hungry but her hunger is now taken over by frustration.
"Waseem aap to khaa lijiye", Roshnaq asked her husband.
"Nahi Roshnaq, jb Zoya ne nhi khaaya hai to hum kase khaa skte hai", Abbu said looking at Zoya who is now standing at the door.
An hour passed but he didn't came. By now frustration & anger has completely taken over Zoya. The watch on Zoya's wrist is now showing 3'o clock.
Waseem who is unable to her daughter like this said in low tone to Roshnaq, "Jise waqt ki kadar nhi h, usse humari Zoya ki kya kadar hogi".
"Waseem yeh kya bol rhe h aap", Roshnaq snapped her husband glancing at him while ensuring Zoya hasn't heard them.
"Ammi-Abbu bhut time ho gya h. Hum khud jaa kr check kr k aate h", Zoya told them while coming back in the living room where they all are waiting for Sahir.
"Kahin nhi jaengi aap, yeh time khud unhone hi fix kia tha. Jo insaan khud apne waqt ka paaband nhi hai", Waseem was saying while Ammi immediately interrupted him in between "Zoya beta aap ek aakhri baar unhe call kr k dekhiye".
"Jii Ammi", saying this Zoya immediately dialled Sahir's number & prayed that this time he may pick up her call.
