It was late the night and Joshaya sat on the couch watching some kind of movie that was on.
Most of their work for the day was done and Maya just didn't want to have too much of a argument with anyone.
She looked at Josh and knew they had to talk.
"Josh?" Maya said.
"Hmm?" he answered.
"Why don't we go to your parents this Christmas? I'm sure your mom will enjoy it," Maya said.
"Maybe because they miss my brother so much they'll see this is a way of replacing him?" Josh asked and Maya sighed.
"Just give it thought," Maya said.
"I know you mean well but my parents are going to think that I am trying to replace Cory and Riley and I don't want that. I don't want to be the person who looks like he wants to replace his brother," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"Boing, give your mom a call. I'm sure she'll like the visit," Maya said.
