Chapter 27: My mom, James, Cole, Stacy, and I all met Ross and his family at the restaurant. It was fancier than I expected. Cole said, "It's fancy but cheap." We found Ross and his family and sat with them. I sat next to Ross, my mom and James sat by Stormie and Mark, Cole sat next to Rocky and Stacy sat next to Cole. We ordered and ate. There were many laughs especially with Ratliff and Rocky being their funny, goofy selves. Ross got up and pulled me up with him. He got down on his knee and took out a small box. "Tori, we've been together for almost 8 years now and I really, really, really love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he said. I smiled and started tearing up. "Will you marry me?" he asked opening the box to reveal the prettiest ring I've ever seen. He just proposed! Oh my God! "Yes! I'll marry you!" I said dropping down and hugging him. He put the ring on my finger and hugged me back. I can't believe I was engaged. I decided right then that I was staying here and going to CSU in L.A. There's no way I was leaving him now.
