Sleep was something Alastor didn't need to survive, he'd be up all day and night for countless nights watching, at first it gave you a queazy feeling he didn't address it nor did he stop, but after sometime it felt comforting to know that nothing could harm you as you dozed off sweetly. He'd be quieter than mice sneaking off, anything he did in the dead of night was mute, the flip of a page from his twelfth novel, a gentle click from his golden zippo lighter, his ear twitching, it was phenomenal, he never disturbed your rest.

"Darling.. hey, it's time to get up." He shook you softly as his red eyes narrowed while he watched you come back to life. "Al?.. what time is it?"

"Come, let me help you dress."
"I-I don't understand what's happening?"
"Nothing at all honey, just some errands."

He draped the black silky dress over your frame easily zipping it up, black flats and gently rubbing your arms while you adjust to the lights, "I'm sorry for awakening you little one." He spoke towards your belly. "Jeez yeah like the vessel carrying it isn't exhausted at all." He smiled. "Don't be difficult now. Come along."

Alastor turned on the heat and waited for the car to warm up, after a few minutes you were finally on the road, you'd like to think that other normal people would have a casual conversation about one's dreams from the previous night, or simply explaining their plans for the day but not him. Alastor was very adamant on not over talking, he'd loosely say a word here or there but he wasn't much of a talker in general. "Did you sleep at all?" He smiles while watching the road intently. "Sleep! Me? Never.. dearest you know I don't sleep~" I scoff watching the road too. "You should try it maybe you wouldn't be so grumpy all the time."

He sighs and drops his smile into a smirk. "Thanks (Y/n) I'll keep that in mind. Me being here for eons and I've never slept one day and now suddenly I'll just do it because my dearest spouse told me so." He places his foot on the gas speeding up signifying he's over and done with the conversation. "I'm sorry.. haven't had coffee yet."

He tapped your shoulder placing his hand out, in the palm of his hand was his silver wedding band he placed it in your hand and then he wiggled his ring finger indicating for you to put it on him, the cold ring rested on his finger tightly as he grabbed your hand and kissed it softly the both of you sat in silence. It was always like this.. the somber feeling of compassion being thrown at you after some kind of conflict to lazily make up for it, it was draining on your behalf.

"Why wasn't it on before?" He chuckled. "I took it off to wash my hands." Finally out of the forest and into the big city made you retort in your seat, the city was covered in smog from the battles and fires but soon it started to clear and the city in ruins turned into glimmering towers and buildings. Everything looked refined and beautiful. "Alastor what is this place called?" "It's the city for overlords dear, notice how posh and clean it is compared to imp city, royalty and powerful people are allowed here."

The car stopped at a small clinic off the side, it's white look stood out with the color of the sky but since everything here was pristine it diminished the bloody red background almost heavenly looking. "Star clinical care.. your desired results will depend upon your specific treatment.. Alastor what is this?" He alarms the car before pocketing the keys looking at the entrance. "Baby's first visit! Couldn't risk taking you to one of those other places." He waves his hands off to the side. "I need my love and my heir attached in one piece you know~"
