"Dae Eunji Bang?" Felix questions. "Wiheomhan Bang."

"Eunji Bang," The man corrects. "I would know."

"I fucking gave her, her middle name." Jisung snarled. "Wiheomhan. Dae Wiheomhan Bang."

"How do you know me and my daughter?" Chan questions sincerely. He looked so vulnerable.

"Daughter?" He scoffs. "That's rich."

Dae looked up, putting it all together right as Chan did.

"Dad?" They both loudly question.

Dae snaps his head towards Chan, looking at him wildly. "Chan?"

The man who now is known as Dae and Chan's father laughs manically.

"Dae, baby. Chan isn't your father."

"I knew that," Dae snaps back.

Dae's father walked over to her slowly, a grim expression on his face.

"Get the fuck away from her," Hyunjin commands darkly, thrashing against his chains.

He stopped in front of Dae. Kneeling, he made dead eye contact with her.

"You need to shut the fuck up. Understand?"

Dae looks at her lap, refusing eye contact. "Yes."

He grips her chin tightly, forcing her to look at him. Dae heard her adopted fathers lashing against the chains, trying to break free to rescue her.

"yes, what?" He growls.

"Yes, sir," she squeaks.

This resulted in a slap across the face, a bright red handprint painted on her cheek.

"Leave her the fuck alone!" Changbin angrily commanded.

"Incorrect," He states, ignoring all the death threats from the men around her.

"I- I don't know what you want me to say," Dae helplessly cries out.

"What's my title?" He snarles.

"Dad?" She whimpers.

"Say it all together baby," He taunts.

"yes, dad."

Dae felt so small, and disgusted. He would never be her dad in her eyes.

"What do you want from us?" Seungmin roughly questions.

"I don't want anything from you specifically. I only want something from two people in this room. The rest of you were just added trophies."

"Well, what do you want from Chan and I?" Dae cuts in acidly.

"Smart girl making assumptions." He rudely taunts. "But you're correct. I want something only from you and Chris."

"And that is?" Chan impatiently pushes.

"You both to join my mafia. Leave your group behind. And come to me."

"You? Why only the both of us?" Dae ponders.

"You really are stupid Dae. If you haven't put it together yet, Chris and you are siblings. Christopher ran away to Korea before you were born. Mom left with you, and you ended up in Chris' care."

Dae's eyes widened, taking in all of this information. She looks at Chan, whose head was down, avoiding eye contact.

"Chan? Dad?" She quietly questioned. "Is that true?"

"Yeah." he sighs out, defeated. "yeah it is."

"How lovely! A family reunion," he interrupts. "Back to my point. I made a mafia. And I want my family to be in it. And you are the last of my family."

"No,"

"Absolutely not,"

"Oh, well. You're not leaving until I get an answer. And not eating either. So have fun dying in here. I'll leave you all to talk about it." And with that, he leaves.

"You lied to all of us?" Jeongin quietly beseeched.

Chan doesn't dare to lift his head. "The day I adopted Dae, I saw my mom kill herself. She planned on killing herself and Dae to avoid my father. But I took Dae right before she killed both of them. I wasn't able to save my mother, so I felt a responsibility to take care of her."

"That doesn't explain why you lied to us. To me!" Dae angrily burst. "You had me believing I was alone, Chan. You had me thinking I was the last of my bloodline. That there was no one left for me."

"Dae, I'm so-"

"You know how happy I would've been as a child, to know that my dad is my long lost brother? That you are the little boy I faintly remember in picture frames at our old house in Australia?" Dae was getting more enraged by the second. "Why would you keep our blood a secret?! Are you ashamed to have me as a sister?"

"No Dae! No!" Chan shouted back.

"Was it easier to have authority over me when I was clueless about our relativity?"

Chan hesitated an answer.

"it was authority. Authority over my happiness. I should've known." Dae put her head down, a few tears rolling down her face.

"Dae, it wasn't like that. I didn't know how to tell you."

"Tell me what Chan?" Dae wasn't yelling anymore, she was just heartbreakingly furious.

"How can I tell my baby sister that her father killed all of her siblings and I'm the only thing she has left. That her mother killed herself because you were too much to take care of. How Dae?"

Dae rolled her eyes, a few tears falling in the process. "Just like that Chan. Exactly like that. Not while I'm getting kidnapped with my other clueless fathers by our real father."

"I'm sorry." He whispered, a choked sob erupting from him. "I'm so sorry."

"I know you are."

A few hours passed and no one has said a word to each other. They are each processing the sticky situation they all got into. Dae had a lot of thinking to do.

'I know Chan had good intentions. He didn't want to hurt me. But it breaks me knowing that he couldn't even tell his members.

I'm happy I have someone in my blood, that isn't batshit crazy. But I feel so lied to.'

Dae drifted off to sleep, hearing the soft cries of Chan.

The door ripped open waking Dae up. She looked at her real father acidly.

"Did I wake some of you up? My bad. But I wanted to know how things were going with decision making."

"no," Chan quietly concluded.

Dae took a deep breath. It was either now or never.

"I'll do it." Everyone's eyes snapped to Dae's form. "I'll join your mafia. if it makes all of them safe."

"Well of course. Let me unlock you and we'll get you food, a shower and fresh clothes, babygirl."

Dae shivered as he unshackled her.

She stood up, stretching her limbs. She looked at Chan, whose expression she would never forget. There was no trace of anger on his face, like she thought there would be. It was a face of despair and abandonment.

"Goodbye, for now, Chan. Everyone. I'll see you around eventually."

And she followed her biological dad out the door, walking away from the family that raised her.
