Party -J-hope

There was cake and food decorating a table by the corner, and streamers filled the room. On the ceiling was banners, all of which said 'happy birthday'. Music played from a stereo by the TV, which was turned on and showing a slide show of photos of J-hope.

I had gathered his best friends all together to celebrate, and his parents even agreed to come. They were all hidden in various places around the room, waiting for J-hope to arrive. I was the lookout (since it was my house too, so it made sense for me to be here) and when J-hope came I had to give him a hug and then turn on the light for him to be surprised.

Jimin was under the sofa,
Jungkook was in a cupboard,
Suga was behind the front door,
Tae was under the table with the food on it,
Jin was trying to hide behind a lamp,
RM was hiding in the bathroom,
J-hope's parents were holding drinks and standing in view so J-hope would see them first as they were his biggest surprise.

I heard keys jangling outside the door and I quietened everyone down. The door opened and I hugged him straight away,
"Hobi I'm so glad your home, happy birthday!" I said, holding him tight. I let go and turned on the light, as everyone else shouted "surprise" and jumped out of their hiding spots.

"Oh my goodness" J-hope said, surprised. I grinned and then pulled him into the party, shutting the door behind us.
"Happy birthday!" BTS (except for J-hope) shouted in sync.
"Thank you!" J-hope replied, smiling widely. Jungkook turned up the music and I handed everyone drinks, then the party kicked off.

I was pulled away from the crowd by Jungkook and Tae, both of whom were looking rather mischievous.
"Can you help us play a prank on J-hope?" Jungkook pleaded, him and Tae doing puppy eyes to try and convince me.
"What kind of prank?" I asked.
"We have a cake that tastes gross and we want him to try it thinking it's the one you got him" Tae explained.
"Ok, Let's do it" I replied, making their faces light up with evil grins.

"You distract him while we swap the cakes" Jungkook instructed me.
"Wait, what are you going to do with the good cake" I asked.
"Don't worry, it'll only be under the table for us to put back after" Tae reassured me. I nodded and then Jungkook nudged me towards where J-hope was talking to Suga.

"Here she is, the woman of the hour!" J-hope said cheerfully.
"I thought that was you, it is your birthday after all" I replied. He pulled me to his side,
"I heard you were the one who organised my party" he said.
"Not all of it" I replied quickly.
"Don't be modest, thank you for this y/n" he said, before kissing me. When he pulled away I took that chance to look over at Tae and Jungkook, who were just putting the new cake carefully on the table.

They then signalled to me that they were done,
"I'll talk to you later Hobi" I whispered before walking back to the table.
"We did it, thanks y/n" Jungkook said.
"No problem, but one question: how do you know it tastes bad?" I asked.
"We used Salt instead of sugar" Tae replied, grinning mischievously.

"You made it yourselves?" I questioned, slightly impressed by the amount of effort they put into one prank.
"Of course, we had fun" Jungkook replied, winking at Tae. Our conversation was cut short by J-hope approaching,
"Time to eat the cake" Jimin cheered. J-hope came over and quickly kissed me on the cheek before picking up a knife to cut the cake.

He gave everyone a slice and I had to hide Jungkook and Tae from view as they were sniggering so much.
"You try it first J-hope, it is your birthday" Tae shouted, and you could hear laughter in his voice. J-hope gave him a weird look but then bit into his cake. Jungkook and Tae burst out laughing, but I watched as J-hope continued to eat.

"Guys, I think your prank went wrong" I whispered, gaining their attention.
"How does it taste?" Jungkook asked J-hope.
"Really good, I love it" J-hope replied, smiling. I was dumbstruck, I had no idea how the prank had gone wrong until J-hope started laughing.
"You can't prank me, especially on my birthday" he said, reaching under the table and revealing the bad cake underneath.

"How did you?-" Tae asked.
"RM was watching you, and he told me what you did. Then we switched the cakes back when you were distracted" J-hope replied. I was shocked at how sneaky he was, and he winked at me.
"As your punishment, you will eat some of the bad cake" J-hope told Jungkook and Tae. Surprisingly they didn't tell on me for helping them, instead they accepted their punishment.

Everyone watched them grab a spoon each and get a spoonful of the gross cake on it.
"Eat! Eat!" We chanted. They put the spoons in their mouth and swallowed, followed by us applauding them.
"That was disgusting" Tae muttered.

After Jungkook and Tae had finished complaining, the crowd dispersed around them. Alcoholic drinks were now being served, which meant Jungkook and Tae would only get more mischievous, so everyone had to watch out.

Suddenly a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the corner.
"I know you helped them prank me" J-hope whispered, and I went red. I knew I couldn't lie to him.
"I saved you from eating their cake but that doesn't mean you won't be punished" he warned me,
"You will be punished later" he added, before strolling away. My jaw dropped in shock, but then I tried to act natural and enjoy the party. In the end I resorted to drinking to calm my nerves.

I didn't know what J-hope had planned, but all through the rest of his party I could see his eyes on me, which made me even more nervous. At midnight, people started leaving and I almost wanted them to stay. Jin was the last to leave and I tried to follow him out when J-hope pulled me back.
"You aren't getting out of it that easily" he said, shutting the door.

He kissed me suddenly, it tasted like alcohol -but I'm guessing that was partly my fault.
"You cannot prank the master" he whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. Then he immediately returned to kissing me.
