After 27 people who were missing for over 24 hours suddenly appeared in the middle of the intersection, the police were certainly called. (Y/n) was told just sit down and rest until an ambulance came to check on her.
She didn't want an ambulance though, she just wanted to begin writing a report on the incident. She just wanted to remember everything that happened in that room with that girl. She just wanted to focus on anything but the pounding on the side of her head.
So, she was writing a report on database as she waited for an ambulance, or just anyone to come look at her head and clear her for work. She stared blankly at the screen in front of her as her thoughts were transcribed into words on the screen.
She was behind on her work. She needed to write three reports now since she was out cold for almost an entire day:
1.) A report on the information recovered about her bounty from five years ago.
2.) A report on her encounter with the Guild Agent: Lucy M. Montgomery.
3.) A report on the information she had saved on database about the other members in connection to Lucy. M. Montgomery before she was knocked out.
A sigh escaped her lips as she began finishing up her first report while she sat on the curb.
"I could really use a (favorite drink) right now..."
As if God had heard her humble plea, a (favorite drink) was lowered into her field of vision by a familiar bandaged hand.
Her eyes traced the hand up to an arm, and eventually, a familiar face was seen standing above her. He had a sad smile on his face as he stared down at her, but seeing him brought a soft smile to her face.
"Hey, Dazai. Did you miss me?"
The man took a seat next to her on the curb before taking a look at her wound. "Yes, it was incredibly boring without you. What happened to your head?"
She shrugged and said, "I don't really remember. The guild member responsible said her puppet, which was a part of her ability, threw me and I hit my head."
The man nodded before saying, "Well, the bleeding was minor from what I can see. All that blood on your face is dried and none of it's fresh, so it's not an open wound... but when we get back to the Agency we'll have Yosano look at you."
"Okay, speaking of the Agency, when can we leave? I'm literally doing nothing right now, and I just want to take a shower..."
Dazai chuckled beside her before he said, "We can leave now if we want. Technically, this is Atsushi and Junichirou's problem. I just came to collect you."
(Y/n) sent Dazai a cat-like smile before she said, "Oh? You came to get me? How sweet, why?"
Dazai sent her a serious look before he said, "Because I was worried about you. You wouldn't pick up your phone at all yesterday, and you didn't send me any messages. That could only mean your database was not working, or you weren't conscious. I feared the Guild had somehow got a hold of you, and that they were making it to where you couldn't use your ability by gagging you or worse, breaking your jaw, or worse what it--"
"Dazai."
(Y/n) forced him to look into her eyes as her hands rest on either side of his face. She smiled at the man before saying, "Just end it with you were worried about me. I'll let you in on a little secret if you walk me to the Agency."
Dazai's eyes sparkled as he became excited about the prospect of learning a secret about the woman who was too interesting for his own good. He quickly stood to his feet and extended a hand to her before he saying, "Off to the Agency we go!"
