Grace's POV

We walked out of the treatment center and to the car where Mom packed my bags into the trunk and we both got in

"We'll get you settled back in at home, baby, and then I'll make an appointment to see the new doctor on Monday so we can start getting you better" Mom took my hand and kissed it

My bones were so prominent all over my body now. This was what I had wanted for so long, and I was happy that I had allowed myself to get this skinny, but I was so tired and the thought of trying to do ballet was exhausting enough, let alone actually doing it.

I nodded my head to Mom and then leant back in my seat, my eyes struggling to stay awake. All I really did now was sleep, my body couldn't handle much else.

"You sleep sweetheart, and before you know it you'll be at our new home" Mom leant over and kissed my forehead and started the car.

I woke up to Mom gently shaking me and telling me that we were here. Our house looked really nice, it was all one floor and it had a big backyard and a swimming pool.

As we walked inside, Mom lead me to my room. The walls were a light pink colour and Mom had decorated it with lots of ballet decorations. I had 3 bookcases, which was nice because it made it feel like a mini library for all of my books and facing the bookcases was an armchair with a little purple cushion resting on it.

There was a desk, and a window overlooking the backyard with pink curtains. I had a built-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom.

"Thank you Mommy" I smiled and hugged her "It's so lovely"

"I wanted to make it special, baby. I know you're still going to sleep in my room everynight, and I'm glad because I want you to, but I thought that if you ever wanted to hang out in here then I had to make sure that it was decorated with all your favourite things" I hugged her as tight as I could, so glad that she had rescued me and brought me home

"How about we go and I show you the rest of the house and then...I'll make some dinner?" Mom looked nervous about talking about food

I smiled and took her hand "I think that's a wonderful idea" I decided that for one night at least I could indulge her and not make her worry "Is Holland living here too?" I asked

Mom smiled "Not at the moment, I want to get you settled and us to get a routine, but hopefully once that's sorted out then yes she should be moving in. I'm so glad you asked" she kissed my forehead

"I'm okay if you want her to move in now, honestly, I love Holland"

"No baby bug, I need to make sure that you're all okay first. I want to get you settled and make sure you feel safe and then we'll go from there" she ran her thumb on my cheek

"Okay Mommy" She made me so happy to be home

I took her hand and made her show me the rest of the house. The kitchen and dining room had vaulted ceilings and were open-plan which was really cool. The living room had floor to ceiling windows with doors opening onto a patio which would be perfect in the summer. Large curtains covered the windows and I knew in the evenings when it was dark and the curtains were drawn that it would be really cozy. I could just imagine Mom, Holland and I curled up on the couch watching a movie.

The garden was huge and the thought of having a pool made excitement bubble in my stomach. Pool parties were defo on the horizon.

Walking back inside, I saw Mom start to get twitchy because I knew she wanted to start making dinner but she was scared to broach the subject.
