A beeping sound woke me up from a light sleep. It was Adam. He probably just landed . I accepted the call and Adam's face popped up on the screen.
"Did I wake you?"
"Nah, I wasn't sleeping."
"Liar " Adam laughed.
"Id rather talk to you than sleeping anyway. How was your flight?"
"Smooth. Already at the hotel. Im getting ready for bed."
"You were supposed to call me as soon as you landed ."
He laughed gently.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart . I just wanted to get everything over with. Did you have dinner yet?"
"Yeah." I lied
He raised his brows. "You sure?"
"Yes, Adam, I'm sure. "
"How are Brandon and the twins treating you? Did they do or say anything?"
I shook my head. "Just ignoring me, as usual. "
Adam let out a frustrated sigh.
"Those three. How am I even related to them?" He muttered.
"Let's not worry about them right now."
"You're right. I should probably let you get back to sleep. Love you."
"Love you too, Adam." I blew him a kiss. He caught it and smiled gently at me before hanging up.
I sighed and laid back in bed. I missed him so much and it hasn't even been one full day yet. I don't know how I'm going to survive three entire weeks.
