"Ugh my feet hurt." I say to particularly no one, since I'm walking alone. I don't see why I had to get stuck by myself. It's not like I caused this whole thing, I mean, Chiron sent us on this quest. Stop lying to yourself! I should have at least checked with him that we could go on a quest. I trip over a stick and tumble down the slight hill I was walking down. I hit a tree which stopped me.

I hear a rustle of leaves and stay down. I slightly peek up to see a girl, probably 6-7 with blonde hair running to where I was hiding. She sees me a stops in her tracks. "Leo Valdez, I am happy to see you, but wait, how long has it been?" She says quickly but then quickly remembers she was running and continued.

I remembered Percy one time talk about the girl that was always by the fire pit at camp, her name was Hestia, goddess of the hearth. This girl might have been her but I couldn't think what a goddess would be running from. I take a quick look around and see a tall building far in the distance, I've been walking for nearly 24 hours so I decide to finally lean against a tree until sunrise in about 2 hours.
