"Daddy!!! Daddy!!! Wakey wakey!!! It's time to go get the pumpkins!!!" Your six year old daughter was currently jumping up and down on her father, Enji Todoroki.

"Come on daddy!!! Up up up!!! We gotta go get big brother Shouto too!!!"

You charloted when you saw her swat his face with a pillow, she was determined to wake her poor father up on his only day off.

"(D/n), why don't you go get ready and I'll wake him up, okay?"

Nodding viciously, your daughter jumped from the bed and scurried out the room.

"____, remember how I said I wanted you to bear another child..."

Sitting on the side of the bed next to him, you ran your fingers through his hair, "mhmm"

"I changed my mind."

Lowering your head, you nuzzled his scarred cheek, "she's just excited she gets to spend time with you and Shouto at the pumpkin patch, that's all."

Lifting his massive form from the bed, Enji sat up and took you in his arms, "think you could give me a treat under these sheets before we go, ___?"

Winking at him you smiled at his corny joke, "not after that, but good try."

Venturing around the pumpkin patch, you decided to leave Enji and (D/n) alone so they could spend time with one another. Shouto was with you, picking out a pumpkin of his own so he could carve it later with his half sister later...

"Thanks for coming out with us, Shouto. It means a lot to (d/n)... She really looks up to you, ya know?"

Pushing some of your hair behind your ear, you bend down to pick up a pumpkin. While examining it you could see in the distance Enji and yours daughter. She was running up to her father with a tiny pumpkin looking more proud than ever until Enji picked up a pumpkin 3 times her size and showed it to her... She instantly dropped her tiny pumpkin and forgot it even existed.

"It's no problem, ___. She's family and I want to do my best and be there for her, even if she is his daughter... No offense. It's just hard.."

"Shouto..." Turning your head, you saw Shouto's hair hiding his face and he gripped onto his pumpkin... "He has a lot of regrets, Shouto... I know you feel like it's too late... but... he's really trying... He talks about it all the time and you can just see how it eats at him."

"Could've fooled me."

Standing up with your pumpkin, you gently tap Shouto with your boot and motion for him to look over at his father and younger half sister.

Looking over at the bigger pumpkins, Shouto saw his father carrying (d/n) on one of his shoulders and a giant pumpkin on his other... With a genuine smile.

"He will never be perfect, Shouto... No one ever will be honest... Perfection doesn't exist... everything and everyone has flaws... He's realized that, Shouto... Life's too short, give him one last chance before something happens and you regret it..."

Shouto's eyes softened, remembering his Father's last fight... Shouto remembers how scared he felt... he still loved his father and maybe you were right.

While thinking to himself, Shouto watched his father place (d/n) on a pumpkin and took her picture... Maybe something has changed after all...

Returning home, you and Enji gathered towels and placed them on the floor so you could all carve the pumpkins together.

Shouto was attempting to carve a cat and Enji was helping yours and his daughter make a scary face... while you were just struggling...

Giving up on yours, you scooted closer to Enji and your daughter so you could watch as they carved the eyes.

"Hey that's pretty good you two!!"

"Where's yours mommy?"

Arching your eyebrow you took a sip of your wine and pushed your pumpkin behind you, "Mine ran away!! He's going to get candy for all the good children!!"

"The great pumpkin!?!"

"Mhmm that's right!!!"

Shouto chuckled under his breath, he could see your deformed pumpkin behind your back.

"You sure it didn't run away because it was scared of you holding that knife?" Enji chimed in since he too could see the pumpkin peeking from behind you...

Glaring, you pointed over to a fresh pumpkin, "let's see what you can do he-ro."

Grinning, Enji looked at you and ignited his flames on his face, "is that a challenge, ___?" Grabbing the fresh pumpkin Enji began to carve Jack the skeleton...

After about 15 minutes, he turned the pumpkin around and you could barely make out what it was he carved. Falling to your back you held your wine glass up and held your stomach with your free hand as you laughed hysterically. Your daughter mimics you and falls onto her back while holding her apple juice up.

Annoyed, Enji's flames extended outward as he made one of his famous grunting noises.

"This is mine," turning his pumpkin around, Shouto opened the top and used his left side to light a fire on the inside so it could glow. His pumpkin carving was of a cat sitting on a crescent moon and it was flawless...

With a proud grin, Enji places his hand atop Shouto's head so he could mess his son's hair up, "I'm proud of you, Shouto."

"Yeah... Happy Halloween... Father."
