~1 month later~
We were allowed to leave the hospital today. Nathan has collected all my well wishes cards and presents that people had sent for Luke and took them home the day before.
Nathan helped me Ito the car as I stared out of the window and waited til we got home. Once we arrived home, Nathan pushed me inside as I sighed and took myself straight to bed.
I snuggled in to the duvet before starting to sob. I heard Nathan come in but, he didn't say anything. He just stood in the doorway for a few minutes before climbing into bed and holding me close.
"Hey, it's all gonna be okay." Nathan says, holding me into his chest.
I didn't reply. I couldn't reply. The past month was such a blur and I couldn't help thinking that it should've been me instead. My heart was in pieces and not even Nathan could fix that.
Luke's funeral is next week and it's gonna be so hard saying goodbye to him forever.
How am I gonna cope?

Hey guys!! So this is a filler chapter!! Next chapter will be the funeral for Luke and then I'll do the epilogue!! I was gonna have the epilogue be the funeral but, yano. I have no more ideas to keep this story going until chapter 45 so this will finish after chapter 37. Love y'all!! Byee x
