Brett observes as everyone laughs to a childhood story Dante was telling. It was mostly directed towards Ruby, Josh, Jalynn and Elisa since they weren't there at the time. Sydney can no longer keep it together as she scrunches her eyes and leans forward, trying her best not to spit out the coffee she just drank. Bree rolls her eyes, a subtle smile slowly growing on her face.
"In my defense," The speedster begins, raising her hands a little. "I thought it was ice cream."
"How do you confuse wasabi for ice cream?" Josh asks with a chuckle.
"I thought it was pistachio, okay!" Bree exclaims, giggling halfway through the sentence. Josh shakes his head at her with an amused smile, prompting Bree to blush and look at her lap. Jalynn's green eyes go back and forth between the two as she takes another sip of her cappuccino.
"I-it was the funniest thing!" Dante manages to say, wiping a tear from his eye. "She started running all over the place like crazy!"
"AHHHH! GIMME WATER!" Sydney imitates while waving her hands around. Just when Dante's laughter died down, he throws his head back, chuckling even harder at his sister's impression.
Brett finally breaks, and joins the laughter. He could hear his twin's 10 year old voice saying those exact words. Elisa laughs and smiles at Bree, finally making eye contact with her. But the speedster's smile falters before she immediately looks away, prompting Elisa to let out a huff.

"Jalynn," Sydney repeats after another taste of her coffee. "That's such a cute name. I've never heard of it." Four of the girls: Bree, Jalynn, Ruby, and Sydney somehow broke off into their own conversation while Elisa stayed back to watch TikToks with the boys.
"Oh, thank you." Jalynn smiles sweetly with a humble shrug. "It's actually a combination of my first and middle name." She shares while Sydney raises her eyebrows, fully intrigued. Jalynn explains further while Ruby turns away from them to talk to the speedster sitting on her left.
"Hey Bree," The 14-year-old whispers. "I'm so happy to see that you're okay after the whole carnival situation."
"Oh my God, yeah..." Bree lets out a breath. "But forget about me, you were the one who was trapped in an actual mirror! What was that like by the way?"
