Your POV

I sighed looking at my progress repost, I was passing all of my classes. Except one, Spanish. I had a big fat F. My parents are going to kill me.

"Cheer up Y/N.. It's going to be okay! You'll have plenty of tome to bring it up.. This isn't the final grade," Jamal said sitting next to me with his lunch.

"If I fail this class it will bring down my GPA. I'll be ruined.. My parents will murder me," I said hyperventilating a little bit. Ruby, Jasmine and Cesar made their way to the table.

"What's with her?" Ruby asked furrowing his eyebrows. Cesar gave me a concerned look while Jamal was completely nonchalant about it.

"She's failing Spanish so she's freaking out a little," Jamal said eating his lunch.

"Y/N why didn't you just say so.. I can help you," Cesar said and I nodded.

"You'd do that?!" I asked and he nodded

"We can meet after school in the library.. Don't worry," He said giving my hand a reassuring squeeze.

I sighed eating for Cesar outside of the library, He was running very late and I had no time for that.

"Wait! I'm here! I'm here!" He said running down the hall. I looked at him crossing my arms over my chest.

"Sorry I'm late but I'm here now.. Should we get started?" He asked and I nodded as we made our way inside.

"Okay so what areas are you having trouble in?" He asked and I planed my face, God this was so embarrassing.

"Everything...If I don't pass this mid term.. There is no way I'll be able to pick it up in time," I said in distress, He nodded grabbing my hands in his.

"Y/N it will be fine.. You have an advantage on your side," He said and I looked at him puzzled.

"You have me," he said sending me a wink, I blushed shaking my head at him.

"Okay..We'll start off with the basics," He said looking around for something. He grabbed a book from a bear by shelf and held it up.

"Libro," he said and I looked at him in awe. He said it so smoothly and so effortlessly.

"Libro," I cringed at the sound of my voice and the way it came out of my mouth. He chuckled a bit nodding his head.

"It may not sound so good at first but with practice you'll get it just right," He said and I nodded as he held up a pencil.

"Lapiz," He said I did repeated after him, after we did a couple more rounds of random object. Then we got into introductions.

"Hola! Me llamo Cesar," he said and I paused discouraged, He nodded encouraging me.

"Hola..Me llamo Y/N," I said a little choppy but it still came out.

"Good! Good! Okay do you know what you just said?" He asked me

"No not a single clue," I giggled and he chuckled along with me.

"You just introduced yourself to me," He said

"Okay now you are going to ask me how I'm doing..Repeat after me okay," He said and I nodded

"Como estas?" He said

"Como estas?" I repeated he smiled patting my hand. So that's what we did the next following weeks, we met up at the library and studied. Conversations between us were strictly held in Spanish. Slowly but surely I was able to get the hang of it.

Weeks of my endless work passed and the midterm was coming up. It was the day before midterms exams and I was completely stressing, I looked at my watch getting anxious as to why Cesar hadn't gotten here yet. I smiled seeing him walk on my direction from the hall.

"Come on," He said taking my hand in his as he pulled me away from the library. I furrowed my eyebrows wondering why we were leaving the library.

"Wait! Wait! Where are we going?!" I asked and I planted both feet on the ground as we came to an abrupt stop.

"Y/N..You've been studying non stop for weeks. WE are going to have some fun. Let off some steam. I know you're stressed and you don't need that right before a big exam.. Come on," He said holding out his hand, I looked at his hand and then up at him. He flashed me a reassuring smile and I sighed taking his hand.

"Where are we going?" I asked him as he took my pulled me down the street.

"It's a surprise!" He yelled

A few bus stops later and we had finally arrived. It was a Carnival that's as going to be in town for the weekend. I smiled seeing all the lights, the rides and the people having fun.

"Come on," Cesar said taking my hand as we entered the carnival. We spent the rest of the day at the carnival, eating wonderful foods, riding the rides, playing some carnival games.

"Oh look! We can end with the Ferris wheel! That's the best spot for the fireworks," he said taking my hand as we walked over to the line. After what felt like forever we finally got on. To say I was scared of heights was an understatement, I was completely terrified. The higher we got the closer I scooted towards Cesar. He chuckled wrapping his arm around me, giving me reassuring squeeze.
I smiled as a light blush made it's way onto my cheeks.

"Cesar," I said, he hummed in response turning to face me.

"Thank you for everything.. Without you I wouldn't feel like I'd be prepared. You didn't have to take the time out of your day to tutor me but you did.. So thank you," I said smiling as I looked into his beautiful chocolate brown eyes.

"I-I have to tell you something Y/N," He said and I furrowed my eyebrows wondering what it was.

"For a long time.. I've felt a certain way for you.. So when I heard that you needed help on your exam.. I took that opportunity to get closer to you and spend more time with you," He spoke learning in closer and closer, so close his for breath was fanning my face.

"Let's put your skills to the test.. What I'm trying to say it.. Pues que te amo," He whispered and My breath got caught in my throat. My heart was racing in my chest and my stomach was doing flips. His hand caressed my face and he closed the gap between us placing a soft yet passionate kiss of my lips. The Ferris wheel came to halt, The lights of the fireworks illuminated around us.

"I love you," I whispered
