Mulla Makes A Decision

The morning after

Dhanam is tapping the door.

Dhanam- Kathiru! Kathiru!! . Inume thungaringa rendu perum..

Kathir is jerked awake to to her voice and sees mulla sitting up groggily too. For a second both of them look confused trying to process the situation.

Dhanam- Kathiru!!Mani 7.30.

He just realizes the time and checks his mobile. Scrambling to find his clothes. He gets dressed hurriedly. Mulla too is dressing up in a hurry.

K- Anni eyuthen.. Oru nimisham...

Dhanam goes away knowing he is awake. Kathir just dressed in a hurry and without even glancing at mulla rushes out. Mulla who is only half dressed runs to the door to close it.

M mindvoice- Ena aalu ivaha? Na thuniya potena nu kuda pakama Kathava tharakaraha.. Cha..

She is irritated first thing in the morning. She had overslept. Well made sense considering she hadn't slept well for the past 3 days. And he just left without saying a word to her. After last night it seemed very cold.

Kathir goes to the kitchen. He is worried on how to explain himself. Will they know the truth.? A couple sleeping in late usually means one thing.. He is really embarrassed.

Just then mulla comes into the kitchen glaring at kathir. Dhanam sees the look.

Dhanam to k- Thirumbavum rathri sandaya renduperkum??

K- Ama anni.. Night marupadiyum sanda. Athan late aiduchu... Manichudunga.

Mulla who is already irritated is now pissed off. She did not expect him to lie so blatantly. Yes she knows he is embarrased, hell she is too but then to just say they had a fight. She leaves the kitchen in irritation.

Kathir feels guilty and confused. He just goes away to take his bath. When he comes back to the room mulla is sitting there looking upset. Unsure of what doesn't he just gets ready.

M- En Thirumbavum sanda nu poi soniha.. 

K- Vera ena sola solra. Nama night sanda potom thane.

M- Ama athu matum tha nadathathu ila.

K- Athelam anga epdi solrathu.. Kevalamairukumila?

M furious- Kevalama??

Karhir immediately regrets his word choice.

K- Athu.. Na..

Mulla gets up angerily and leaves the room in a huff before he could stop her. Kathir hits his forhead. How could he say that.. But what did she expect him to say to others. That all of a sudden they were nice because they had done it.. He had no idea what to do now. It is already too late for the shop. He goes out and sees mulla has gone for her bath. 

Dhanam tells him to have breakfast and take for others before he leaves. He agrees reluctantly not wanting to have another conforntationn with her now.

Kathir is having his breakfast when mulla comes back after getting ready.

Dhanam- Avalayum sapda ukara solu ava nighte seriya sapdala.

M- En akka ennkita nera pesamatinglala?

Dhanam- Ena pesa solra?? Unala kathir mela mama kovama iruthaha. Elarum Avenue thitinom. Ipa thane puriyuthu nee avan kita epidi pesirka nu?

Mulla glares at kathir thinking he is the one who told dhanam about these issues.

M- Akka na kovathula etho etho pesiten.. Athuku manipum ketuten..

She leaves and dhanam eyes fill with tears. Kathir feels really uncomfortable.

Kathir finishes his breakfast quickly and goes into the room. Mulla is sitting there still angry..
