Mulla Makes A Decision

An understanding

Her mouth slowly twitches and their eyes lock. She bursts out lauging and relieved to see her laugh he joins in lauging with her. He puts the mat down and comes to sit with her in the bed.

K- Kovam koraichurcha?? Na paninathu thapu than... Manichudu..

M grinning  - Korailana na ena panirpinga. Thirumba pai eduthu paduthuduvingala??

K- Manipu ketrupen nee pesara varikum..

Mulla is shocked that he is able to admit this to her. This is the guy who couldn't even admit he had looked at her differently when she was undressed just yesterday. Knowing it took a lot for him to say that she feels a lot better now.

She saves her number and gives a missed call to herself.

She is immediately tensed. Seeing her face change and wanting to reassure her he thinks for a second.  With a slight hesitation he extends his hand to take her hand into his and that in itself is a surprise to her.

Mulla looks a little irritated.

Though not entirely convinced she feels there is some merit to his argument. The family does get overly involved in their lives and right now they themselves did not know what they were to each other. Yes they had been intimate but that had just been a step. They needed to get to know each other better. Maybe that would be easier if the family wasnt constantly teasing them.

Mulla just grins knowing that atleast he did not think last time was a one night thing. She was worried he might say it was something like that. He was hoping for more that was clear from his words. But she had decided today he needs to make a move the next time whenever it was. She had taken the first plunge far too literally yesterday even after being rejected and humilated. So unless he came to her nothing was happening.

She lies down and he goes to switch off the light disappointed. He lies down carefully next to her not wanting to touch her much. He was already in hell. All he wanted to do since he saw her was kiss her. But that was not the moment he knew he had to apologize and talk. He had hoped to talk for some more time and maybe later they could get more comfortable later, but she shut him off by saying she wanted to sleep. He thought she needed more time to maybe be intimate again.  He couldn't wait right now but he knew he had to respect her wishes.

However he had not been able to stop thinking about last night all day and though he knew he messed up in the morning he was hoping that after they sorted it their issues maybe. But he dint know how to ask her without seeming desperate. Would she think it was selfish of him to reach out for her now. ?After all he had just said they needed to understand each other more. Now if he did this wouldn't he seem interested in her only for that?. But there she was lying next to him so invitingly. He cursed his dirty mind and tried to control his thoughts.

He could not fall asleep no matter how much he tried. Not with her next to him like that. Mulla fell asleep quickly but was tossing and turning which was very uncomfortable for him. He even considered shifting down. He turned to look at her sleeping peacefully and all he wanted to do was lean in and kiss her. Maybe if he did it very softly once she wouldn't notice. He leaned in and kisses her softly in her lips once and moved back to look at her. She opened her eyes. Startled and embarssed he said

K- Romba azhaga iruthe.. athan..

She smiled at him a warm open smile that he knew was an invitation to kiss again. He moved in closer pulling her body close to his and kissed her harder this time. Things got heated in no time.

M- Evlo neram neegale varuvanga nu wait panrathu??

That was the moment he knew how badly he had misjudged his wife.
