About a week later

It is meenas birthday and jeeva had forgotten all about it. When meena cries to mullai about it she feels bad.
She goes to her room and calls up kathir

K- Hello. Na milla konjam velaya iruken aparam kupdatuma??

M- Jeeva mama kuda irukrangala??

K- Annan kadala iruku.. Avarku pesa nee kada number ku podu.

M- Seri ga..

K- Onum perachanai ilaye??

M-Ila ila. Na jeeva mama kita meena porthanal pathi pesanum..

Mulla calls jeeva and tells him about the birthday. Jeeva arranges for a grand surprise with cake and celebrations.

That night in km room kathir and mullai are discussing the celebrations.

Kathir is slightly irritated.

Kathir doesn't answer and just lies down next to her and shuts his eyes immidiately..

M mindvoice- Kovichutangalo?? Nama onum thapa solala ila??

She lies down hoping he would be normal soon. But when she wakes up next morning he is gone to shop early.

She comes out and asks dhanam

Just then meena comes in and shouts at her for informing jeeva about her birthday.

Meena- Neega ipidi than adikadi jeeva ku phone pani pesuvingala??

Mulla is really hurt.

M mindvoice- Meena ipidi neichagana.. Apa avahalum ithanala than kovama irukangalo enavo?.. nama vera jeeva mama avahala vida osathigara mathri pesitom. She is crying in the room all day.  She tries to call kathir but he doesn't pick up.

That night when kathir returns it's quite late. Moorthy, kathir and jeeva are discussing shop issues when kannan tells them about what meena said to mulla.

Kathir wants to go immidiately and check on mulla. He had been angry with her but now that dont seem to matter. He get up.

Moorthy- Ey antha pulla kita konjam kaniva pesu...

Kathir goes in to see mullai sitting in the bed crying. He shuts the door and comes and sits next to her.

K- Ena aachu??

M- Onuila..

He puts his hand out to take hers and she throws herself into him sobbing and hugging him..

M crying- Na jeeva mama ku kalyanathuku aparam nethi than motha tharavaya phone pane.. . Kathir is shocked at this outburst he holds her close stroking her back. He doesn't know what to say for a few minutes he was not expecting this.

K- Ey ena oolara? Jeeva annan ku ne phone panatha pathi na onume solalaye.. ithula ena iruku.. nee ethuku ivlo ayara. Mulla.. ena paaru.. ayartha Niruthu mothala..

Mulla pulls back and calms down a little.

K- Kovama tha iruthen ana vela yum neraya iruthuchu.. ana athukum jeeva annakum Oru samathamum ilaye..

K- Cha.. ena pesara nee. Mulla feels overwhelmed she leans over and hugs him again. She is crying again

She moves back and kisses his lips.

M -Na.  Sorry..  unga manasa purijukama na apidi pesiten ..

He kisses her fore head.

K- Aparam un porathanala na marakave maten. Nee vena paaru ona 12 maniku eyupi epidi padutharenu.
