Mulla Makes A Decision

The apprehension

This is the first time after their marriage kathir and mullai are going together in bike. She is extremely excited to share this first experience with him. She sits behind beaming. He starts the bike smiling. But he is silent while on road and doesnt really talk to her.

He doesnt really say anything else. Mulla notices his stony expression and is confused. Here she was all excited about this wedding. Also this was the first time they are going out alone as a couple. She had been looking forward to this all week. His lack of enthusiasm is upsetting her. He had gotten ready quite happily and even worn the watch she got him. She was so happy to see him wear it proudly and surprised he admitted she got it to dhanam .  But now why is he so withdrawn? She decides to ask him directly.

Kathir stops the bike surprised.

K- Ena ??

Mulla gets down and breathes a heavy sigh. She looks angry,  is almost in tears. She closes her eyes for a moment composing herself.

She doesnt reply and just stands not really looking at him..

Mulla just gets on the bike and sits silently. He starts but keeps glancing at her in the mirror and sees that she is stil mad.

They both sip the elani both observed in their own thoughts.

Kathir looks at her in awe. How did he get so lucky? He had someone who just accepted him for who he is and loved him.
