Dhanam moves away lauging to herself.

Moorthy sees dhanam coming hurriedly with a huge grin in her face.

Dhanam giggles even more unable to stop herself.

In km room

Kathir and mulla are lying down in bed. When mulla suddenly sits up and goes to the shelf.

K- Ena ipdi thiduknu eyuthu odra?? Enaaachu??

Mulla doesnt answer but is searching in in between her clothes.

K- Ey ena thedra??

M- Irunga.. ungalukku vangi vechathaye marathuten..

K- Enathu?? Enaku vanginiya?? Ena vangina..

M- Ah. Kedarchurchu

Mulla takes a small box gift wrapped from the shelf. And gives it to him with a smile. He opens to find a watch.

K stunned- Enaka?? Ethuku?

He takes the watch out and looks at it in awe.

K in a hoarse voice- Ithu.. na.. Enaku ena solarthune.. Enaku nu.. na unaku...

He is overwhelmingly touched with this unexpected gift. No one has ever gifted him anything. He usually gets new clothes for his birthday or some occasion when he was younger. But other than that receiving any gift is such a new experience for him. Without warning tears prick his eyes. Embarrassed he tries to wipe them off. Mulla notices this and is surprised. She goes near him and puts her hand on his shoulder. He pulls her close and breaks down. She is stunned. She had seen him in tears before..  but this was shocking.. he is sobbing. Putting hand around her waist he is crying into her holding her close. Never in her life had she seen him cry like this. Even when he was little he was always too strong to cry. She had seen him just show no pain or cry when he once had a fracture after falling from a  tree... This was so unexpected

He calms down a bit. And gets up kisses her and hugs her close. Then takes the watch and gives it to her.

Mulla takes and puts in his his wrist.

They both go and lie down. Kathir is deep in thought.
