Mulla Makes A Decision

The reception

They enter the wedding venue. Mulla immidiately spots her friends in the crowd and turns to kathir.

Kathir smiles at her concern

As soon as her friends see her they surround her. Mulla makes sure she introduces him to everyone in the group. Some of them have come with their husbands and soon they all sit together chatting comfortably. Kathir notices that mulla keeps looking up on stage at the couple longingly.  He is confused.

They all sat chatting for sometime. Mulla keeps glancing at kathir to make sure he is ok. But to her surprise and his own he doesn't feel out of place at all. All of her friends and their husbands talk to him freely.
He starts discussing shop details with one of the husbands who works in a hotel. Conversation flows easily. Sometime later Ramya walks in. Mulla gets up to hug her..

Everyone decides to go to stage to gift the couple. Kathir and the other husbands dont want to accompany the girls on stage. A few of them join after their wives forces them.

She leaves him to wait in the queue near the stage. She stands there looking at him talking to other guys.

Just then kathir joins them he notices mullas sudden panicked expression.

Ramya moves forward embarrassed.

After dinner they all talk together outside for a few minutes and then leave. Mulla and kathir walk to their bike.

K- Thanks.. ena kutitu vanthathuku.. Nee sona mathri than.. Elarume nala payagaranga. Na thevaiilama kavala paten..

K- Inum antha varutham iruku ila unaku..

M- Ila ila.. Mothala kashtama iruthuchu..  Ana aparam yosicha.. perusa vali ila.. ipa santhoshama than iruken.. Neega than kuda irukinga ila..Ini ela friend kalyanathukum poven.. kuda varuveehala??

They get on their bike and start towards home.  Kathir stops the bike near an ice cream truck.

K- Kalayanathula ice cream ila nu un friend kita soli feel paniye.. Keturchu..

M grinning -Ama kalayanmna ice cream irukanum.. vera ena ilanalum.. Enaku kovama vanthuchu.. Thank you atha gavinchathuku..

They get their ice cream and sit under a tree..

Kathir is watching her enjoying her ice cream mesmerized..

M- Sapadunga.. ena rasichathu pothum..

K hits his forehead- Aiyo maname pochu..  ena neichurpa ena pathi..

He is silent for a few minutes. Mulla looks at him for a second then grabs his ice cream from him. He looks at her shocked. She offers him hers winking he cannot help but smile and takes it from her.

M- Ena kovama?? Aniki ava kita pesalana nama ipa ipidi iruka matom.. atha yosinga.. 

K- Hmm. Athu serithan. Analum... Seri vidu.. Friends kula neega pesartha pathi na kavala patu ena aaha povuthu.. Etho avaluku nandri..

They soon finish their ice cream and start home.
