I looked up.
"aye Bird watchu yellin my government foh?"

"Nigga ive been callin "Roddy" for the past two minutes and you aint answer, so I had to say yo government. Why yo eyes so glued to that phone anyways?"

"its nun. watchu need?"

"just tryna tell you yo song wit that NLE kid almost at 20 million views on youtube."

I went back on my phone. For the past hour, I've been trying to find her on instagram, cause I was actin dumb and aint get her number. Ive searched up Ashanti and its different spellings and allat but I still aint found her. shit, a nigga getting impatient.

"yo Bird."

"wassup?"

"yu kno that girl I was sitting next to at the party the other night?"

"The one wit the laptop?" he asked.

"yeah."

"Yeah what about her?"

"do you kno who she is?"

"nah. y?"

I sighed.

"Thats who?" Donbo asked.

"nun." I said shaking my head.

I showed him a picture of Ashanti.

"Ashanti? Thas Hakeem's little sister"

"Hakeem who?" I asked.

"The nigga that died 2 years ago at the park shootout."

"Hakeem Symone?"

Donbo nodded.

"damn I aint know that she Hakeem's sister."

Hakeem this nigga that died 2 years ago in a park shootout. He been dealin drugs when a bunch of niggas pulled up on him and shot him to death. Shit was so crazy, it was all over the news. I ain't know Ashanti was his sister.

I looked at a few more of her posts.

"aye Roddy we gotta go."

"to where?"

"we got an interview at 2:30."

"ight hol on."
