The Doctor, Martha and I run into the TARDIS, closely followed by a blast from an energy weapon.

"Get down!" I shout. Bang! I slam the door shut leaning against it breathing heavily.

"Did they see you?" The Doctor asks looking towards Martha.

"I don't know."

"But did they see you?"

"I don't know. I was too busy running."

"Martha, it's important. Did they see your face?" I ask.

"No, they couldn't have."

"Off we go!" The Doctor says as he sets the TARDIS into motion.

"Argh! They're following us" I say looking at the screen.

"How can they do that? You've got a time machine" Martha says.

"Stolen technology. They've got a Time Agent's vortex manipulator. They can follow us wherever we go, right across the universe. They're never going to stop, unless..." he looks towards me.

"Tell me you not thinking what I hope you're not thinking" I ask my voice flatting, the Doctor looks at me sympathy writing across it.

"We'll have to do it, I'm sorry Seer. Martha, you trust us, don't you?" The Doctor asks.

"Of course, I do" Martha replies confused.

"Because it all depends on you" the Doctor says.

"What does? What am I supposed to do?" He holds out an ornately decorated pocket watch.

"Take this watch, because our lifes depends on it. This watch, Martha. The watch is..."

I turn slightly in the bed feeling something tighten around my waist, I open my eyes to see John lying beside me a small smile on his face, I lean towards him placing a small kiss on his lips, he opens his eyes and pulls me closer to himself.

"Morning, love" I whisper running my hand though his hair.

"Morning, sweetheart" he replies his voice raspy due to just waking up, I pull him into another kiss as his hands tighten around my hips, I smile against his lips and let out a small giggle. A clock is ticking. There are voices in the corridor outside. John then gets up, and there is a knock on the door, I also get up.

"Come in" John says, Martha enters, carrying a breakfast tray and wearing maid's uniform complete with little cap. She turns her back when she sees we aren't fully dressed.

"Pardon me, Mister and Mrs Smith. You're not dressed yet. I can come back later" we put on a dressing gown each.

"No, it's all right, it's all right. Put it down. I was er. Sorry, sorry. Sometimes I have these extraordinary dreams" John says as Martha puts the tray down on a table by the leather settee and draws the curtains.

"What about, sir?"

"I dream I'm this adventurer. This daredevil, a madman. 'The Doctor', I'm called. And last night I dreamt that you two were there, as my companions."

"Two teachers and a housemaid, sir? That's impossible" Martha says.

"I'm a man from another world, though, So, is Jane."

"Well it can't be true because there's no such thing" I say.

"This thing. The watch is..." he picks up the ornate pocket watch from the mantlepiece for a moment then puts it back shaking his head "ah, it's funny how dreams slip away. But I do remember one thing; it all took place in the future. In the Year of Our Lord two thousand and seven."
