15- Ocean View

3rd person pov:

Y/n was staying over at the home of the EU countries because her fathers are overseas, again, because of a business trip. The h/c haired child was colouring her colouring book while she stayed with 5 countries in the house.

Belgium was vacuuming the house here and there. Netherlands is in his room, doing his usual thing far away from the small child. Czech Republic or Czechia for short, was scrolling through her phone. Lithuania and Latvia were just watching random movies.

"Hey Belgium! Do you think it arrived already?" Czechia asked, looking at the mailbox through the window. The Belgian stopped what ever she's doing and ran to the mailbox as fast as she can. She opened the mailbox slightly, while she was trying not to explode from excitement.

Belgium grabbed the response letter. "To Belgium Brussels, you have won a cruise to South East Asia." The country read out loud. She went to the back of the letter. "Bring a plus one." Belgium read.

Belgium ran inside trying not to explode from excitement. "What's the hype, auntie?" Y/n asked her aunt who was jumping up and down excitedly. Without a beat the Belgian yelled "I WON A CRUISE TO SOUTHEAST ASIA!"

She yelled it so loudly that everyone had to cover their ears. "Can you shut up? We're trying to watch here!" Latvia yelled. "The letter told me to bring a plus one." Belgian added, showing them the letter.

Lithuania spat out her soda and asked "Plus one? Can it be me?" Belgium thought for a second. "I helped you fix your dress at a party once!" Lithuania stated. "No! It should be me! I'm her best friend!" Netherlands said, coming from upstairs.

Y/n went to the kitchen to grab herself a snack. "It should BE ME! I gave Belgium free beer!" Czechia yelled while pointing a finger to herself. "Best friends first, België (Belgium)." Netherlands said from the stairs, tapping his foot.

"It's gonna be me!" Latvia said, doing her proud grin. "You just told her to shut up a while ago!" Lithuania yelled, hitting her in the arm. "Why you little-" Latvia started pulling her sisters' hair. Belgium didn't like fighting and would stop one when she sees one, but she's busy thinking on which person to bring to the cruise.

Belgium went to the kitchen to think, then she had an idea. "Guys! I've made my decision! I'm gonna bring..." As the country said that. Her house mates stopped fighting and went close to her to hear her answer.

'It's my first time going to a cruise into the big sea.' Y/n thought to herself while holding her luggage. "I can't believe she chose the kid!" Netherlands said, crossing his arms and pouting like a toddler. "Shut up weed addict." Czechia said, slapping Netherlands in the arm.

Y/n waved goodbye to the other countries, before hopping in the ship. "Do you get sea sick?" Belgium asked Y/n. "Sometimes. I still remember going to a cruise with my grandma. I started getting sick halfway there." Y/n responded politely.

"If you don't feel well, tell me, okay?" Belgium said, kneeling down to the child's level. Y/n simply nodded. Belgium held Y/n's hand all the way to their room. The door opened and Y/n plopped on the bed as soon as she got there.

Belgium set all the luggage down. She sat down on the bed and started scrolling through her phone. Y/n peeked on whatever Belgium was doing in her phone. Belgium looked behind her to see Y/n peeking. "You can use my phone if you like." Belgium offered the h/c child.

"Auntie, can we go explore around the boat?" Y/n said, pointing out the window. Belgium placed her phone down and stood up. "Is that a yes?" Y/n asked the country. Belgium's lips curled into a smile and she nodded.

Y/n went to the balcony and started admiring the view of the ocean. "Isn't it beautiful?" Y/n asked the country who was admiring the view with her. "Agreed. The air is so fresh." Belgium said, taking a deep breath.

Y/n also took a deep breath suddenly Belgium's stomach started grumbling. "Let's go eat lunch?" Belgium asked the child who was admiring the view. "Okay, I'm kinda hungry too." Y/n said, leaving the balcony.

Belgium ate pretty fast. Y/n was enjoying her f/f and f/d. Belgium ordered another plate of steak with a side of fries. Y/n started giggling out of the blue, "What's so funny?" Belgium asked the giggling Y/n.

"I still remember one time when we went to school, Bella tried to swing the highest but she flew to the bushes instead." Y/n said trying to hold in her laughter. Belgium just shrugged it off and ate her food.

Time skip

It was nighttime with the stars glimmering on the sky and the peaceful sounds of the sea. "I'm back" Belgium said, who was done taking a shower. "I'm gonna go to the balcony." Y/n left to the balcony.

Y/n was admiring the night sky and the sea. Y/n had always loved looking at the night sky. It made her happy during sleepless nights. She always imagined being with her dads going camping in the forest and admiring the sky, but her fathers were worried that she might get insect bites.

"So peaceful." Belgium said feeling the wind in her light brown hair. Y/n did her smile, looking at Belgium. They both enjoyed looking at the view for some time. "Let's go to bed?" Belgium asked the sleepy girl.

Y/n yawned and nodded. Belgium carried her to bed and put her down. She placed the blanket over the child who was wearing f/c shorts and 2nd/f/c shirt. Y/n smiled softly while in her slumber. Belgium went ahead and slept in the same bed with Y/n.
