^^ just a little shayari I wrote😀😀.

Just a quick note most of the upcoming chapter would be from Dua's diary and in Raza's POV. Dua will be silent for a while so don't mind. I'll try adding Dua's POV somewhere here and there so let's just you know wait.

The chapter is a bit mature so if you feel uncomfortable please don't proceed😅 friendly warning.

Raza's POV

The party was in full swing when I went down stairs. Dua was no where to be seen. I hid the diary in my side table drawer and decided to proceed with my day.

Malaika's in laws were also present with Farzana aunty and her daughter who I believe is shabnam. I greeted Dua's family, Mehak's clingy and loud friends. I also met Malaika's in laws including shabnam who was all over me even after I shoved her away harshly.

I went on about the party looking for Dua who I got to know was in the kitchen looking for final touches to the feast she had prepared with the help of our head maid Fatima bi. She made an appearance with the cake in her hands. The lights dimmed as the attention was now solely on her.

She placed the cake infront if Abba who sat at the head of the table.

"Happy birthday Abba" she said. The nervousness could be seen on her face while her family looked shocked.

"Thanky-" Abba's words died in his throat as his eyes widened. He looked at Dua who was smiling sheepishly.

"Happy birthday" she said once again with an earth shattering smile. I forgot where I was. I could only see her smile and her nothing else.

"Dua y-" he was left speechless. She nodded her head in positive. Abba got up from his seat and embraced her in a hug.

"Its the best birthday ever." He said. Abba and Dua had grown close to each other in the course of time. They both shared the father and daughter bond. He blew the candle and cut the cake. The birthday was getting better and better with every passing second. By now everyone was sitting in the living room. After dinner most of the guest left. The ones that were present were Dua's family and Malaika's in laws.

"Aapka gift" Dua said handing him a small black velvety box.

(Your gift)

"Are bhai yeh kia. Humari beti humare gift laye hai" he said taking the box from her and tucking her under his arm.

(Ohh.. My daughter brought a gift for me)

He opened the box. It contained a set of silver expensive cufflinks.

"I didn't know what you would like so I liked these and got them for you" she said looking at him. He smiled and kissed her head.

"Its the best gift you could've possibly gotten me. Thank you" he said

"No need to thank you're my second Baba" she said.

After a while everyone left and surprisingly Dua didn't leave with her parents. She stayed behind I wonder why. Maybe she changed her mind.

When everyone retired to their rooms I went to the kitchen to look for her. She was winding everything up with Fatima bi.

"Dua" I called once I was in the kitchen. I can't live without her presence in my room or her time to time cuddles. Her seductive ways of torturing me. I will go crazy if I don't find her near me when I have a bad day.

She turned around and raised her eyebrows. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. I signaled Fatima bi to leave is alone and take the other servants with her. She did as asked. Dua looked at me with her now numb eyes. I don't like this stare. This stare reminds me of the time we spent months ago, the silence was now not as comforting as it had started to feel.
