"Gabriel!" Sam shouted, "What are these things?"

Gabriel had positioned himself protectively in front of Sam (leaving around two feet of Sam unprotected- but it was the thought that counts), The four creatures gnashed their teeth and circled the two men. One of the beasts looked like a lion- with the exception of massive eagle wings sprouting from it's shoulder blades, a leopard with four wings of fowl and four heads, A bear with three ribs between its teeth, and most unnerving a scaly creature with ten horns and skin that shined like iron.

"These are Daniel's beasts- sent to guard pops' creations, can't believe i'd be so stupid to forget about them." Gabe hissed to Sam- his blade was drawn on the beasts.

"What do we do? How do we kill them?" Sam begged,

"We can't, we have to bargain with them otherwise... they'll attack,"

"So what? We're just going to play a game of riddles with four monsters?"

"Yup, don't worry though- i've tangled with these SOB's before." Gabriel bragged as he slammed a glowing hand to the ground, a wave of light rippled out sending a golden mist throughout the air, making the four beasts freeze in shock,

"Dormammu? I've come to bargain!" Gabe shouted at them,

("Did you just quote Dr.Strange?"

"Don't drag on Cumberbatch, the man deserves an Oscar.")

The beasts gurgled, a pitiful attempt at a laugh. Gabriel met their eyes, his face resembling stone,

"We have no business with you, let us pass." Gabriel growled,

"You're on your third strike little angel," The heads said in unison- their eyes glowing green, "We will make this slow and painful," they roared- sending vibrations through the garden, Gabriel shielded himself covering his head with his arms and falling to the ground in a tight ball, all confidence gone,

"Hold on! Wait!" Sam begged, stepping in front of Gabriel.

The glowing eyes flickered out, and the beasts looked at one another confused as to why their supper was fighting back.

"What exactly did he do to you?" Sam demanded,

Gabriel remained curled on the ground and a muffled voice emerged,

"When I was younger I stole a platypus, blew up half the garden, and accidentally ate a subspecies of salmon."

Sam's eyebrows creased and he held back a smile,

"R-right, well... Platypus' are adorable creatures- so you could see why Gabe-riel would steal one, sorry 'bout the garden... if it's any consolation it still looks lovely. And, um... there are already, like, seven species of salmon in the world, what's one more? It's not like he tried to kill you!" Sam negotiated,

The beasts glared, "He did that too,"

Sam shot a glare of disbelief to Gabriel, Gabriel looked up briefly and made an apologetic face before he covered his head again.

"Ok, ok... what if I take the branch? You have no beef with me, so just let me and the angel go," Sam suggested, the beasts turned to one enother and shared a look.

"You may leave, with the branch and your life," Gabe sighed in relief, "as for the archangel," The beasts continued, Gabriel groaned softly, "leave him with us. He will pay for his misbehavior...

By dying."
