namjoon arrives at the kim household and knocks on the door, revealing mrs. kim. "oh, you must be namjoon! you're the really great lacrosse player and the boy who's taking jin out, am i correct?" she asks as she lets the boy inside. namjoon chuckles at the woman.

"yes ma'am, that would be me." he says, waiting for seokjin. the lady smiles. "you're very attractive. seokjin did good." she says, observing the tall dark boy. namjoon smiles again, mrs. kim gasping. "oh my gosh! you have a dimple! how cute!" she exclaims.

seokjin starts walking down the stairs. "mom, i know he's cute. no need to remind me." he says as if it's obvious, which it very much is obvious that namjoon is attractive. "hello, joon." seokjin greets the boy with a hug. namjoon hugs the boy back. "hey, jin." he says.

they pull away and look at mrs. kim who is still standing there. "oh sorry! i'll just go to the living room, you two have fun!" she exclaims while walking through the big house. the boys chuckle at the woman. "i already love your mother." namjoon says, recalling what has just happened.

seokjin cocks his head and smiles. "yeah, she has that affect on people." he says. "well let's go." namjoon says, opening the door for seokjin. the boys walk out to namjoon's car and head out. namjoon arrives at a big restaurant that isn't too big nor very fancy. the boys walk in the place and get taken to a table.

they open up their menus and look at the food. their waitress then comes up to take their drinks. it is a young girl, around their age. though the boys don't recognize her, thinking she must go to a different school. "hi! what could i get you two to drink?" she asks, ready to write down their drinks.

"i'll take water, please." seokjin tells the girl politely. "and what about you?" she asks namjoon, having obvious heart eyes at the boy. "i'll just have water, as well." he tells her while sitting his menu down. the boys end up ordering as well, already knowing what they wanted. she jots down their orders and heads off to get their drinks.

the girl comes back with the boys drinks. seokjin looks at the boy across from him. "she thinks you're cute." he says, sipping on his water. namjoon furrows his eyebrows. "how do you know?" he asks seokjin. seokjin just shrugs. "she made direct eye contact with you and her eyebrows were raised. those are signs of thinking someone is attractive." seokjin tells the boy.

namjoon nods. "i bet you $50 that she won't say anything or do anything to show she's attracted to me." namjoon dares. seokjin raises his eyebrows and smiles. "oh yeah? she's gonna leave her number on the check. i'm calling it." seokjin says, looking at namjoon. namjoon smiles back at the boy.

'god, he's pretty.'

the boys dinner had come to a finish, and all they were waiting on check. their waitress comes back. "sorry that took so long! here's your check, just tell me whenever you're ready to pay!" she says, looking straight at namjoon making him a tad bit uncomfortable.
seokjin was getting concerned about the bet, knowing the girl hasn't said anything to namjoon yet.

namjoon grabs the check and closes his eyes. seokjin smirks, knowing he had won the bet. "you better give me that money." he says jokingly. namjoon laughs at the boys antics and scribbles down a note for the girl when she comes back.

she goes and grabs the check, expecting a number for her to call. when she picks it up, she sees a note and reads it.

'i'm sure you're a nice girl, but i can't accept your offer. you're very pretty, but i do happen to have a boyfriend who is also sitting across from me. i'm sorry, have a nice night :)'

she sighs at the note. "dammit." she mumbles. seokjin watches the girls face drop as she read the check. he felt victorious, knowing namjoon had written something about him. she comes back with namjoon's card. "thanks for coming, come back soon!" she says, but then leans down to namjoon.

"maybe next time you come you'll be single." she whispers, namjoon raising his eyebrows at the comment. she walks off, obviously pissed. she turns a corner, making eye contact with seokjin. he look at the girl and smiles sweetly, annoying the girl. he chuckles at his actions.

the boys get up from their seats and head to the exit of the restaurant, namjoon wrapping an arm around seokjin's waist, the waitress also watching that. "what'd she even say to you?" seokjin asks as they walk down the street. they agreed to go for ice cream after dinner, which was down the street.

"she said i better be single next time i go." he tells seokjin, both boys laughing. "i think we should go there more often just to make her mad." seokjin suggests, namjoon agreeing. they walk into the ice cream parlor, ordering their ice cream and walking out.

they go and sit on a bench outside of the cute little ice cream shop and sit down, namjoon putting an arm around seokjin's shoulders while they eat their ice cream. "do you think jungkook and taehyung would be good together?" seokjin asks suddenly, namjoon thinking.

"i don't know, why?" he asks the boy. seokjin just shrugs. "i've just been thinking about it." he replies, licking his ice cream. namjoon nods, not wanting to bombard the boy with questions about jungkook. the two start a conversation about school, finishing their ice cream and going to namjoon's car.

"before we go home, i have one more place i want to take you to." namjoon tells the boy, seokjin nodding. "well, where is it?" he asks. namjoon shakes his head. "can't say, you'll see." seokjin nods and giggles. namjoon begins driving to the place where him and seokjin first hung out.

they get there and get out of namjoon's car, seokjin admiring the view once again. "awe, joon. this is so sweet." seokjin says, turning to the taller male. namjoon smiles and goes up to seokjin, putting an arm around seokjin's waist and looking over the cityscape. "have you had a good time?" namjoon asks.

seokjin looks at the boy, their faces awfully close. "i've had a great time. thank you for making this so memorable." seokjin says, putting his head on namjoon's shoulder. the boys lean into each other and look over the large city.

the lights colorful from all of the different buildings and attractions. sometimes it's nice living in a big city. you're able to admire it if you get to the right places at the right time. the boys stay in that position for minutes before deciding to head home.
