where taehyung is new to seoul and comes for jungkook's position in lacrosse.

jungkook woke up, looking at his phone at the time. 6:00. he then looks at the date, remembering it's the first day of senior year. he hops out of bed and sees hoseok in the living room on his phone. he sits next to his best friend.
"hey, seok." he says as he takes a seat. "morning jungkook." hoseok replies. the boys stay on their phones until mrs. jung walks in, greeting the boys and going to make breakfast. soon enough, the whole family is up and off to their first day of school.
jungkook promised to pick taehyung up, so he is currently on the front porch waiting on someone to open the door. the door open, revealing taemi. jungkook smiles at the girl. "hi, kookie!" she exclaims while hugging the boys waist.
"hey, mimi! are you excited for school?" he asks, the girl nodding happily. "i'm in 2nd grade!" she tells jungkook who acts shocked when she says that. "oh my gosh! that's crazy!" he says, eyes wide and smiling.
"i know, she's growing up!" he hears taehyung say from inside. he smiles at his boyfriend, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. "you ready?" he asks, taehyung nodding. "bye, mimi. have fun at school!" the boys say.
they get into jungkook's car and head to school, jamming to music and laughing with each other. when they get out of the car and head inside, they hold hands while talking casually. "it sucks we barely have any classes together." taehyung says.
jungkook shrugs. "we have our last two periods together, that's something." he says. the other boy nods and sighs. "well, i should probably get to class." taehyung says, releasing his hand from jungkook's. jungkook smiles, kissing the boy quickly.
"alright, love you." he says before taehyung walks off. "love you too." taehyung says, turning around and heading to class, bumping into jimin on the way. he feels an arm go around his shoulders, the person being taemin. "oh how ever will you survive senior year barely having classes with tae?" he asks dramatically.
jungkook laughs, taemin also laughing in the process. "i question being friends with you, sometimes." jungkook says. taemin throws a hand over his heart, acting offended. "wow. that shit hurted." he says. jungkook rolls his eyes playfully the boy.
"we have first period together, right?" jungkook asks, taemin thinking. "if your first period is chem, then yes." taemin says. the boys make their way to their first class of the day, talking about lacrosse and nonsense.

considering lacrosse season doesn't start until january and it's only august, coach min has the boys doing conditioning. they start out with normal stretches before going into sprinting. the team lines up on the field and listens to coach min's instructions.
"alright boys, we'll be doing conditioning for a few months. these next two weeks will be solely based around speed. you'll start off sprinting the track and i'll time you and as the weeks go on, hopefully your time will get faster." he tells the boys, who nod in reply.
taehyung and jungkook are standing next to each other, taehyung's hands on his hips and jungkook's arms crossed. they're listening to coach min talk until they hear whispers from behind them. "oh my god, look. they're so cool." they hear someone, who they assume is a freshman, whisper.
they smiles at each other and jungkook slaps taehyung's ass lightly, making the freshman gasp. the boys find it humorous, though they should be listening to the instructions. minutes after coach is done talking, everyone is sprinting around the track.

the boys have finally finished their practice, thankfully for them. after getting dressed and ready, the group al decided to go get some coffee. jungkook and taehyung get in jungkook's car, sighing. "i wanna quit now." jungkook says jokingly. taehyung giggles.
"shut up, now let's go get some coffee." he says. jungkook chuckles and starts the car, driving behind hoseok's car. on the way to the coffee shop, jungkook reaches over and grabs taehyung's hand, taehyung not thinking anything of it.
taehyung brings both his and jungkook's hands up and snaps a picture of the two. after a little while of driving, the group arrives at the coffee shop and orders their drinks. "if that is gonna be practice for the next two weeks, i'll make sure to tear my acl." taemin says, rubbing his face.
hoseok looks at the boy and raises his eyebrows. "i don't think you wanna do that, speaking from experience." he says jokingly, the group chuckling. their drinks are brought out to them and the group continues chatting away.
the boys drink their coffee and go back home, wanting to get some rest after the terrible practice they just had. jungkook dropped taehyung off at his house, deciding to go in with the boy to greet his family. he walks in and sees taemi and mrs. kim on the couch watching a show.
mr. kim then walks in with a plate of cookies and notices the boys. "hey! how was your day?" he asks the boys. they both sigh and smile at each other. "practice sucked." taehyung comments, dragging taehyung to the couch to cuddle. jungkook chuckles while hugging the boy.
after a little while, taehyung falls asleep and jungkook decides to go back home. he gently gets off the couch, making sure taehyung didn't wake up from his slumber. he pushes the hair out of taehyung's face before planting a kiss on his forehead.
he says goodbye to the kim family and heads back home. when he gets home, everyone is eating dinner so he sat down next to hyunae and ate before going to take a shower. after his shower, he got in bed before going on instagram. he smiles at a post he sees. ___________________________________
