Chapter 1 | ℝ𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝔼𝕩𝕒𝕞

(Y/N)'s POV:

    We finally arrived in Japan after a long flight, I'm so excited for the exam and also a little nervous if I'm being honest, I've been training for this and learning different things I can do with my quirk. "Ok, pack up your exercise clothes and we'll head to UA." My mom said "Ok!" I said and ran towards my bag and started to pack.

~Time Skip~

    My mom drops me off at the gates "Ok, have fun and try your best." She told me "Ok mom, see you later." I said and hugged her, "Bye sweetie." She said "Bye." I replied. I started to walk in with my bag over my shoulder, I felt really nervous now, the building was tall and pretty intimidating. As I was walking I saw some other kids that looked my age, there was a boy with red and white hair, and two different coloured eyes, he looked pretty intimidating, then there was a tall boy with brown hair that went up to talk to him, he seemed pretty energetic, I hope that for today I don't have to talk to anyone.I continued to walk up to the building, I got inside and went to the auditorium with the rest of the kids taking the exam.

~Time Skip~

   It's after the written test and now it's time for the practical test, I'm nervous for this one, for this test students race six students at a time through a three-kilometre long obstacle course using our quirks. We get a tag with numbers we put on our chests and our times are recorded by Present Mic. I was up against the boy with red and white hair and the energetic tall boy I saw talking to him earlier, my number was number 20, I think I've got this race in the bag! I know exactly what I'm gonna do. Present Mic then spoke "Okay, the written test of the recommendation entrance exam is over! Use your quirks freely to make it to the finish line!" Then a buzzer went off that signalled us to go, I activated the exploding plants I put on the bottom of my shoes by snapping both of my fingers and was sent flying forward, they lasted long enough for me to make it to third place! Right behind the boy with red and white hair. After this is the interview.

    After the interview was over I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. After I changed out of my exercise clothes someone ran up and started to talk to me "Hey! I think you did great in the obstacle course!" I turned around and saw the tall energetic boy "Oh, thanks..." I say looking down at the ground "What's your name?!" He asked "(Y/N) Ishicu." I replied "I'm Inasa Yoarashi! It's very nice to meet you!" He said with a big smile on his face "You too!" I said with a small smile on my face "I have to get going! See you later Ishicu!" He said "See you Yoarashi." I said, I waved at him and walked towards my mom "Who was that you were talking to?" She asked "Someone else who took the exam." I replied as I got into the car.
