Chapter 40 | ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕤 𝕊𝕙𝕠𝕡𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕡 𝔾𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕎𝕣𝕠𝕟𝕘

(Y/N)'s POV:

It was the day after the exams and we were in our classroom "Everyone, I'm looking forward to hearing stories of how fun camp was..." Mina said sobbing while I was hugging her and patting her back "Maybe they'll end up letting you go. There might be a last minute twist, or something." Midoriya said trying to reassure them "Stop Midoriya, by saying that out loud your jinxing them." Sero said placing a hand on one of Midoriya's shoulders "They said whoever failed the exams would have to skip training camp and stay in summer school hell. We didn't pass the practicals so we're doomed. Don't you get it Midoriya?! Or did All Might knock out a few brain cells during your match?!" Kaminari asked while poking Midoriya in the eyes "Calm down Kamanari. I'm not sure I'll get to go either, our team only passed because of Mineta, I got knocked out." Sero said pointing to the grape head we call a classmate. "Yeah, and since we don't know how they're scoring stuff Sero could've failed like you." I explained "Kaminari then shouted something that I didn't hear because he looked like he was also crying. "Geez, I don't think they're handling this well." I thought sweat dropping.

Soon the classroom door opened and Aizawa was standing there. "Once the bell rings you should be in your seats." He said and we all hurried towards our seats, and he walked to the front of the room "Unfortunately there are a few of you who didn't pass your final exams." Aizawa said, I looked over at Kirishima, Sato, Kaminari and Mina and they all looked so sad "So in regards to the training camp in the woods. Everyone is going." Aizawa explained, the four of them looked so shocked and then happy "So we really get to go?!" Kirishima asked "Seriously?!" Mina asked with literal tears in her eyes. "Yeah, the good news is that nobody failed the written exam. The five who failed the practical, two teams and then Sero failed as well." Aizawa said "Dang it!" Sero exclaimed and then started to mumble into his hands "Allow me to explain, for the practical battles the teachers made sure to make way for the students to win, otherwise you never would've stood a chance. We were interested in observing how you each work together to handle the task at hand." Aizawa explains "But didn't you tell us that the teachers weren't going to hold back?" Ojiro asked "That was to put you on edge. Besides, the trading camp works on building your strength. Those who failed need those lessons the most, we were never going to separate you. That was just a logical deception we used." Aizawa explained "A logical deception?!" Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima and Sato exclaimed.

The four of them then started to jump up and down and high five "Sometimes our classmates can act like children." I thought looking at them with a smile on my face. They then sat back down in their desks and Iida stood up with his hand in the air "Aizawa-sensei! This is the second time you've lied to us! Aren't you worried that we're going to lose faith in you?!" Iida asked "Uhhh, a little blunt there Iida." Ochako commented "That's the point, I'll consider it. But I wasn't lying to you about everything. Failure is failure. We've got extra lessons for the five of you." Aizawa said looking at Mina, Sero, Kaminari, Sato and Kirishima "And frankly, they'll be a lot harder then what you would've faced in summer school." Aizawa explains.

~Time Skip~

It's the end of the day and we're all getting ready to go home "This is gonna be great. I'm so glad we're all going together." Ojiro said holding up the small book we all got. "We'll be at the training camp for a whole week." Iida said "Iv shot to find a bigger suitcase." Midoriya said "Yeah, I don't even have a bathing suit. Guess I need to by some stuff." Kaminari said "Like night vision goggles!"
Mineta said popping up by the three of them "Guys, since we have the day off tomorrow and we've finally finished exams I have the best idea! Why doesn't call 1-A go shopping together?!" Toru asked with excitement in her voice "Hey, yeah! We've never hung out as a class before." Kaminari said "Bakugou, see you there right?" Kirishima asked him as he was walking out the door "I can't think of anything more annoying." Bakugou replied "Will you come Todoroki?" I asked him "I visit my mom on days off." he replied "That's great that you visit her." I said "You party poopers! Don't you ever get tired of being so serious?!" Mineta exclaimed.
