Chapter 35 | 𝕂𝕚𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕞𝕒 & 𝕊𝕒𝕥𝕠 𝕧𝕤. ℂ𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕠𝕤 & 𝕋𝕤𝕦 & 𝕋𝕠𝕜𝕠𝕪𝕒𝕞𝕚 𝕧𝕤. 𝔼𝕔𝕥𝕠𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕞

(Y/N)'s POV:

    "Ojiro, I would like to discuss how we might be able to coronate the use of our quirks." Iida said and Ojiro nodded "Tokoyami, let's go come up
with a plan." Tsu said "Agreed." Tokoyami said and they walked off "We've got to think of a way to destroy Ms. Midnight's costume!" Mineta said to Sero "Pervert." I thought glaring at him "You are such a little scumbag." Sero said to him. We all headed inside of the building "Guys, I'm going to go watch the first match." I said to Todoroki and Momo "Ok." Todoroki said "I'll come with you (Y/N)." Momo said, I smiled at her, and we walked into the room. When we got there I already saw that Midoriya and Ochako were there along with Recovery Girl. "Oh hey (Y/N)!" Ochako said waving "Hi Ochako." I replied waving back "Let me guess, Midoriya, you're watching the matches for two reasons. One, Bakugou doesn't want to come up with a plan with you. And two, you just want to see our classmates fight the teachers. Correct?" I said, Midoriya scratched the back of his neck nervously "You're right." He said, we then turned around towards the monitor to watch the matches, then there was a voice, and it said "Team Sato and Kirishima, practical exam, ready, go." We looked at the screen and saw them running ahead, soon enough a cement wall blocked their path. They then activate their quirks and start to charge at Cementos. He created a couple more smaller walls and they both punched the same one twice until it broke. They continued to punch through the walls to get to Cementos. "Come on you guys you've totally got him." Ochako said from beside Midoriya "They're not gonna win like this." Midoriya said causing us to look at him "Their quirks are amazing, but there's a limit to how much they can use them. They won't last forever. I don't think Cementos~sensei has that kind of limit. The more time that passes by, the more  of a disadvantage they're at." Midoriya explained "That's not good." Momo said "It's no coincidence they were matched up. Aizawa-sensei must think they'll have a hard time against him." I pointed out "Exactly. So before it's time for your own final, you should think about your compatibility with the teacher your fighting." Recovery Girl says. Soon enough there were cement walls all around the two closing them in. When they're set free you can see that they're both on the ground knocked out. The voice spoke again "Sato and Kirishima have been knocked out. Exam over." Recovery Girl got out of her chair "It's only the first round and I'm already needed." She said as she walked to her temporary office to heal Sato and Kirishima "No way, it was that one sided?" Ochako said with a hand over her mouth "Their quirks were too ineffective against his." Midoriya said "Crap... this exam is going to be harder then I thought." I said.

    Now it's Tsu and Tokoyami's match. The voice spoke again "Team Asui and Tokoyami, practical exam, ready, go." All of the sudden multiple Ectoplasms appeared in front of them, blocking their path, then more appeared behind them. Then they all started to charge at them, Tokoyami summoned dark shadow who grabbed onto Tsu and threw her into the air, then Tsu used her younger to wrap around Tokoyami and pulled him up to the ledge she was on "Nice!" I shouted "An escape only the two of them could pull off!" Midoriya exclaimed "That's good communication, they're talking to each other. It might not seem like much, but it's important. I think that having a sidekick or partner that you can communicate with well will really help you." Recovery Girl explains "So, we were talking about these finals, and how each student is supposed to be facing their weaknesses." Midoriya said "That's right." Recovery Girl said "Ok, so, what did Tokoyami and Asui have to work on? I'm having trouble seeing how Ectoplasm-sensei's quirk will give them a disadvantage." Midoriya said "Oh, well it's not good. For Tokoyami at least." Recovery Girl said "Why's that?" I asked "Keep watching, you'll see." She told us and we all faced back to the screen.

They were running on the ledge that they jumped to, clones appeared in front of Tokoyami and he used dark shadow to attack them. More came up behind him but Tsu jumped in and used her tongue to stop them from attacking him. Dark shadow tried to hit one of them, but they dodged and went to attack him, Tsu grabbed onto him with her tongue and lifted him up to the ledger above them. She then jumped up to join him. Soon more clones appeared, blocking their path, "Tokoyami is quick and can attack from afar, allowing him to keep his distance. Those are all strengths. But, looking at it another way, it means he's weak in close range." Recovery Girl explained "I guess I didn't think of that." Momo said "And Ectoplasm's clones can appear from anywhere which could catch him off guard." Ochako added "On the other hand there's Asui. A stellar student with no clear weaknesses. She can provide support to her ally, as powerful as he may be, but she's important in another way too. Her level headedness and abilities to provide emotional support, is the key to them passing." Recovery Girl explains "Emotional support, huh." I said in my head as I looked back at the screen to watch their match.

The two beat the other clones and made it close to the exit gate, where Ectoplasm's real body stood guard. He then creates a giant clone of himself, it hit the ledge they were on and created smoke which cover out view of the two. We all had shocked looks on our faces "I didn't know his quirk allowed him to do that!" I thought. When the smoke cleared we saw Tsu and Tokoyami restrained in the giant clone's back. Dark shadow started to charge towards the exit gate, Ectoplasm and dark shadow were fighting. Tokoyami then called dark shadow back and Tsu started to regurgitate the hand cuffs they were given before the match started "She must've swallowed them earlier. All though, that's kinda gross." I thought. Dark shadow took the cuffs and put them
on Ectoplasm's leg "Wow! They leg cuffed him!" Ochako exclaimed "Then they passed!" Momo and I exclaimed "They found a way to beat him! Dark shadow and frog, what a great team!" Midoriya said. The voice them spoke again "Team Asui and Tokoyami, passed the final." Ectoplasm then walked towards them and they talked for a bit before they all headed out of the area.
