He ended up freezing Sero in his tracks "Tell the truth Sero... can you move at all?" Midnight asked "Are you kidding, obviously not! My body is freezing." Sero said "Sero has been immobilized, Todoroki advances to the second round!" Midnight said, Todoroki then walked up to Sero and melted the ice as the crowd was shouting "Nice try!" To Sero.
*Present Time*
"Sorry everyone for the long wait, the insane amount of ice from the second match has finally been cleared so let's welcome our new competitors." Present Mic announced as the flames came up on each side "Even beautiful flowers have thorns, from class 1-B: Ibara Shiozaki from the hero course!" He announced as Shiozaki and I walked out "Vs. Another nature quirk user, and from the hero course's very own class 1-A and was one of the students to get in by recommendations: it's (Y/N) Ishicu!" He announces and the crowd cheers for us "Keep those eyes peeled I want to see a super flashy battle between these two plant types!" Present Mic shouted "What are we Pokemon?" I questioned in my head "Excuse me. Please pardon the interruption, I'm not sure why you called me an assassin. I've come to the festival in search of victory, not my opponent's life. That wouldn't be in line with the values of a hero at all." Shiozaki said with her right hand on her chest and her left arm raised a little into the air "Wait, did he refer to her as an assassin? Did I miss something?" I wondered "Right! I'm sorry." Present Mic apologies "I didn't enter UA for wicked or selfish reasons, but to deliver salvation to others. It is my humble quest to spread true goodness across this world." She explained "I said I was sorry! That was my bad ok?" Present Mic said "Ok..." I thought "I Thank you got your kind understanding." Shiozaki replied while smiling, she then bowed "Wow, she's really nice, maybe we could become friends." I thought "So anyway, begin!" Present Mic shouted, she used her hair to create a vine to wrap around me, I created a plant barrier around me to block her attack, while she was trying to get through the barrier I created some exploding plants and put them in my pocket. I touched the barrier and it collapsed, she saw the opening and tried again, I dodged her attack. I then threw the exploding plants in front of her and snapped my fingers and they went off creating a smoke screen for me to create a small vine to wrap around her ankle. When the smoke clears I use my plant to throw her out of bounds "Shiozaki is out of bounds, Ishicu advances to the second round." Midnight announced and the crowd cheers. I walked over to her as she was getting up, I offered her my hand "Sorry if that hurt." I said with a small smile on my face, she took my hand and stood up "It's ok." She said smiling at me and we bowed at each other "Look at that sportsmanship!" Present Mic said and the crowd cheers, and both of us the walked out out of the arena and to our class booths.
"(Y/N)! That was awesome!" Ochako said to me as I sat down beside her "Thanks Ochako." I replied smiling "Yeah! I now got more notes on your quirk!" Midoriya said "Oh that's great." I replied "Wait, what?" I questioned in my head "You must think your so great because you beat Shiozaki huh?" A voice said, I turned my head and saw a blond guy from class 1-B "Uh..." I said, then the girl with orange ponytail, I think her name was Kendo, yeah. She hit the back of his neck and he collapsed "Sorry about him." She said "It's fine." I replied sweat dropping, she then walked back to her seat "I hate that guy." I thought, Midoriya then starts mumbling and writing down notes in his burned up notebook "(Y/N) and Shiozaki's quirks both use plants, except (Y/N)'s quirk is more powerful and she could easily block Shiozaki's attacks. Though Shiozaki placed fourth in the entrance exam, but (Y/N) got in by recommendations." "Midoriya... please stop that." I said "Oh! Sorry (Y/N)!" Midoriya apologizes "Yeah, maybe you should take a sec to relax, and to not think to many matches ahead." Ochako said "Sorry, sometimes I don't realize I'm saying things out loud. It's not everyday I get to see amazing quirks in action like this outside our class." He explains "Actually! I've got notes on everybody in our class." He said and flipped through his notebook "Here's what I got on your zero gravity." He said holding up his notebook on Ochako's quirk, she looked shocked for a minute and then gave him a smile while turning back to look at the arena "You know Deku, I've always known you were amazing, you've got so much drive and focus in you. And this sports festival is reminding me of that." Ochako said "Let's keep pumping out these battles! Time for the fourth match!" Let's get ready to watch two new players!" Present Mic announces as Mina and Aoyama walk up into the arena "Let's hope that belt serves some kind of purpose: its Yuga Aoyama from the hero course! Vs. Is there some sort of purpose for those things sticking out of her head? From the same class: Mina Ashido!" Present Mic announced and the crowd cheers "Come on Mina, you can do it." Tsu cheered, Mineta then yells something, but knowing him I don't pay attention "You pervert." I hear Kyoka say to him "A match between Aoyama and Ashido, figuring what their powers are Aoyama will probably keep his distance and try to attack with his laser from far away. So it all depends if Ashido can dodge his attacks, and mange to use her quirk against him in close combat. The problem is, there's nothing here for her to use as cover so she's at a disadvantage." Midoriya mumbled "Now! Let's get started! Let the fourth match begin!" Present Mic announced. Aoyama starts by firing his laser at her, she dodged and starts skating using acid coming from her feet, and he kept firing while she keeps dodging. She skates towards him, they're talking to each other, but I can't hear what they're saying, she then shoots acid out of her palms and it hits his belt and melts it and a bit of his pants so they fall down. As he tries to pull them up she makes an uppercut punch, he then falls down, I think she knocked him out "Aoyama has fainted. The winner is of this match is Ashido!" Midnight announces "Damn, Ashido punched him hard. That's a solid victory if I've ever seen one sports fans." Present Mic says. Mina was doing peace signs and jumping up and down "Wow, Mina did amazing." Tsu commented, Mineta then said another perverted thing "Does that guy ever stop being a pervert?" I wondered "The match unfolded like I thought it would, but I definitely underestimated Ashido. Although, now that I think about it, she did place tenth in the quirk assessment test. She has a great power, but she won because of her physical strength." Midoroya mumbled, I looked over at the TV screen with Mina's picture on it saying winner.
