(Y/N)'s POV:

*Previously*

"And in fourth place, is team Ishicu!" Present Mic announced and the crowd cheered, Midoriya started to cry, I just chuckled "These are the four teams that will advance to the next round!" Present Mic said.

*Present Time*

"Now, let's take an hour lunch break, see you soon." Present Mic said, I was walking with Midoriya trying to find Ochako and Iida "Ishicu, Midorya." A voice said from behind us, we turned around and saw Todoroki "What?" I asked, I was pretty pissed at him for taking the headband, let's just say I can hold grudges "Can I speak with you two?" He asked "Sure." Midoriya said, we then walked over to a hidden area, while we were walking I noticed Todoroki was looking at my arm, the one he burned, it wasn't a bad burn just a small one, and I hadn't gotten it treated yet. When we got there me and Midoriya stood against the left wall with Todoroki on the right wall. He just kinda stared at us, Midoriya was shaking a little bit "You brought us here. Now what?" I asked him, he stayed quite "We should probably eat soon. The cafeteria is gonna be busy. Don't you think..." Midoriya said trailing off at the end "Ok, this is getting weird..." I thought "I was overwhelmed. And it made me break the promise I made to myself a long time ago." Todoroki said "Where's this coming from?" I wondered "Iida and Kaminari, Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami and Uraraka. None of them felt it. In that moment, I was the only one who could sense your true power." He said looking at me "I'm confused...What full power?" I asked myself "And Midoriya, seeing you use your quirk in the U.S.J reminded me of something. Experiencing All Mights quirk." Todoroki said "Yeah, ok." Midoriya said "Is that all?" I asked "I'm saying that Midoriya's power felt the same way All Might's did. Midorya, tell me. Are you All Might's secret love child or something?" He asked Midoriya looked a little taken aback by this question "Wait what?!" I asked "Well are you?" He asked Midoriya again ignoring my question "No! It's not like that at all! But I guess even if it was I would probably say it wasn't so you probably won't believe me anyway. I promise, you've got the wrong idea." Midoriya told him "Why would you even think that?" Midorya asked "That's not it at all. Interesting wording. That suggests that there is something going on between you two that your not supposed to talk about." Todoroki said. There is a short pause "My father is the flame hero: Endeavour, you might have heard of him. Which means you probably know that he's the number two hero. So, if your connected to the number one hero All Might in some way. That would mean, that I have even more reason to beat you Midoriya." He said "Quick question." I said, as both their gazes turns to me "Why am I here?" I ask "I'm getting to that." Todoroki replied with a cold look on his face "Ok, geez." I mumbled "My old man is ambitious, he aims for the top. He used his power to make a name for himself as a hero, but he was never able to best All Might. So the Symbol of Peace is a living proof of his failure. He's still at it though, still trying to take down All Might. One way or another." Todoroki explained "I'm not sure what you're getting at. What are you trying to tell me Todoroki?" Midoriya asked "Have you ever heard of, quirk marriages?" Todoroki asked "Yeah, weren't they invented in the earlier generations of quirks?" I asked "Yes, they became a problem in the first generations after superpowers became wide spread. There were those who sought out potential mates, solely with the intention of creating powerful children. Many people were forced into relationships. They were simply viewed as old fashioned arranged marriages. But clearly, it was unethical. My father has not only a rich history of accomplishments, but also plenty of money to throw at his problems. He bought my mother's relatives to get his hands on her quirk, and now he's raising me to surpass All Might." Todoroki explained, I was shocked to say the least "Its so annoying. I refuse to be a tool for that scumbag. In every memory of my mother, I only see her crying. I remember she called my left side unbearable, before she pored boiling water on my face." Todoroki explained covering up his scar, me and Midoriya looked horrified "The reason I picked a fight with you, Midoriya was to show my old man what I was capable of doing. Without having to use his quirk. You see? I have to show him that I fully reject his power, and that I can take first place without using it." Todoroki finishes explaining, I clenched my fists "So that's why he acts so distant and cold hearted." I thought "And Ishicu, I hurt you using my left side, I wanted to apologize for that, and also underestimating you at the start of the festival." He said "Oh, it's fine." I replied, he then turned around and started to walk out "Midoriya, you are obviously connected to All Might, and even if you won't tell me about it, but no matter how fiercely you come at me in the future, I will defeat you using only my right side, and as for you Ishicu, I now see you as a rival as well, and I'll defeat you as well, I can assure you of that." He said while walking off. I stayed silent before running up to him, Midoriya was behind me "Hey, wait!" I shout, he stops "I'm here, because I want to become a hero, I would consider myself lucky that I have people who supported me that helped me get this far. I want to become a hero that people can look up to, and feel safe in my presence. But, in-order to do that, I need to win this festival. My motivation might be pathetic compared to yours. You declared war on me and Midoriya earlier. Well, back at you. I'm going to beat you." I said, he looked at me and Midoriya for a couple seconds, he then walked off "Come on (Y/N) let's go to the cafeteria." Midoriya said "Yeah." I replied and we started to walk "I will beat you Todoroki, if it's the last thing I do." I thought.
