The students stared at her as she walks through the senior block, going towards the administrative block. She knows they were staring but it didn't bother her, it was nothing new... She was used to it.

She walked with grace, poise and confidence. It was like she was on the runway, she bounced in her steps, that was how she walks normally but people thinks she does this to gain attention. What they don't know is that she attracts a lot of attention due to her beauty. She was carved and made to turn eyes.

She got to the administrative block, heading towards the secretary office. She knocked the door like the cultured person she was meant to be, she heard a cheerful 'come in'. She opened the door as the ever beautiful secretary smiled up at her.

"Good morning, Miss Wura" i smile at her, returning the kind gesture.

"Good morning, Teniola.. How was your weekend?"

"It was nice and okay" I shrug.

"What of your roommates? Are you okay with your room?" She asks nervously but with a happy tone. I nod. How can someone be this happy on a Monday morning, no wonder she is the secretary. "I guess you are here for your timetable and books" I nod again.

She typed something on her system as I look around the clean office. There were files, books and flyers. She stood up, going towards a stack of drawers. She wore a white long sleeve shirt, with black pencil skirt and stilettoes. She looks elegant.

"Here you go" she puts a stack of new books and textbooks on her table, together with a new Ipad which was still in the parcel. "It is for educational purposes only, it is given to all student, it as been encoded with a password for unnecessary websites in case students get too curious, you can use it for any other thing and you must leave it in your locker after school, okay?"

"Alright..." I nod.

"Oh before you go... The principal will like to see you" I inwardly groaned. What did I do now?

"Why?" I ask raising my right eyebrow in question.

"Honestly... I don't know" she said going back to her seat behind the desk. I nod, she directs me to the principal office which was just beside hers.

I reach the office, on the door there was a silver plate with the the word principal written on it as well as his name which was A.A Ajayi, knocking the door. I heard a voice asking me to come in, i opened the door, the warmth welcomed me. I look around the office, on one side was a shelve full of awards both in academics and sports.

I locked eye with the principal who sat on his huge revolving chair behind his desk. He gave me a warm and encouraging smile.

"Good morning sir" I curtsied. In front of him was his computer system and bulky neat files.

"Good morning dear, how are you?"

"Am fine thank you sir" he nods.

"Please have a sit" i quickly sat down on one of the two vacant seat opposite him.

"Miss Coker, am sure you know why i want to see you? You know why you are here right?" He asks me.

Of course i know why am here, my parents, no my family thinks am too cold or too quiet for my own good. They think am depressed so they sent me to a boarding school where i would make friends and meet children as spoilt as me as well as the middle class. Oh oh let not forget the endowment my father gave you. But instead i bowed my head, talking in a meek tone.

"Yes sir" he sighs.

"It was difficult for us to accept you because you are in the final year, but judging from your performance and recommendation  from your former school, and you being a straight-A student,we have decided to give you a try"
