"I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE"I whined from the spot that I was sitting in, In the car. This had to have been the thousandth time that I've been saying it and My dad just ignored it as usual.

It was easy for him to do so because I've been doing it for the past hour since we've all been in the car.
"I know you don't."He said finally looking over at me as the car continued down the street.It felt like the car has been on the go for forever. Until the driver stopped at the light.

My older sister Aaliyah rolled her eye's looking at me," Mo stop."

I didn't look at her ignoring her and looked at my dad,"Stop what? why can't we just stay at home."

" Freeridge is our home now baby, Inglewood isn't safe."My dad said and I scoffed,"Neither is freeridge."If anything it actually was even worse.

Aaliyah nodded in agreement," That's true."She looked back over at him before turning to look at me,"But Mo, I doubt that it's gonna be that bad."

"So you say."I scoffed,"I don't even have any friend's here."I couldn't understand why he would decide to move us somewhere where we barely know anyone. I know like a handful of people that live here but they're family so they don't exactly count,"I barely know anyone."

" Yes you do,"My dad said,"You know your cousin Draya and her crew of friend's."
"Yeah remember you and Rashad used to hang out with them."Aaliyah added looking between me and Rashad.
My twin brother that said nothing as he sat across from me under his hoodie.

"We used to hang out when we were like fourteen, besides I doubt she even remembers me."I rolled my eye's at them. I haven't seen my cousin since I was fourteen year's old and I vividly remember her friends even though I used to hang out with them with my brother. If anything I only remember one of them and that's Santana. She's the only one I remember because I hung out with her a lot,

I barely remember the other's.

"And I doubt that her friend's want to hang out with me or Rashad because of our ties."I added as I sat back in my seat.

"Last time I checked one of her friend's were a santo?" He said in the form of a question like that was something I knew the answer to.

I just shrugged,"I don't know or really care honestly".

He looked at me,"But if he is it shouldn't matter, if they do-".
