Extreme stealing. Yeah, im a thief (normally not, but all Minecraft players have taken one thing or two once)
So, I have a tendency to reflex-steal. I see a chance, I take it. No blowing up stuff (a waste of resources, and makes it even worse if they find you) but stealing stuff from chests when you have hundreds more? They have never caught me. Ever. Im just the nice , innocent player who is friends with the higher ups.
So what happened was the following: I found a bug in my favorite skyblock server. You could open furnaces. What did I spent my time doing that afternoon while they fixed it? Steal every single important thing in a furnace from islands whose players were disconnected.
To this day, no one has found out it was me.

A couple of months ago my brother invited me to join a server hosted by his school friends. While I am normally quite behaved and respectful on servers, I thought I could have a bit of fun with this.
My reign of terror began when I first spawned in. I proceeded to raid several farms and chests, and I quickly set up an underground base. The other players initially suspected nothing.
In the following days I sneaked around the world, robbing chests and destroying buildings. At this point I think some of the other players were onto me, but it looked like they wouldn't be able to pin anything on me and so I was safe with my treasure hoard.
Unfortunately, my knack for stealing treasure got the better of me when I was challenged to find another player's base. I began an underground tunnel system so that I could easily mine in and nick the goods. However, one of the other players found me in my tunnel, so I quickly killed him with my trusty diamond sword. He returned with a full set of enchanted diamond armour and massacred me in my tunnel, stealing all my items.
In my rage, I returned to my almost empty base and grabbed my brother's flint and steel. I then started setting fire to almost all of the buildings on the world. However, I was eventually caught and killed by an armoured squad of salty players.
Although I denied everything, my brother and I were promptly banned from the server.

I was probably 16 or 17 when this happened. There was this server, it wasnt the most popular our there but a decent amount of people visited and I was one of the first. they had a way you could buy more privileges, like flying or certain commands, but in the very beginning those weren't something you bought but something you earned by helping build the server.
I should mention that at this point in time as far as I know you couldn't pay money in game. Signs had the owners website and you payed there and added your username to the thing so that an admin could promote you. I'll be honest, I only know the admin side of things. I never payed the dude a dime.
So I naturally knew the owners. I was really good friends with an admin at the time so I had gotten into the server early. I didn't know them well, but I was a face they recognized and occasionally talked to. I was very close with many admins of the server. It was a guild sort of thing and my guild consisted of me, another person who was close with the admins, and three admins. We were all friends and it was great. Only the admin I talked about earlier and I knew each other irl though.
Around a month goes by and one admin has to leave the server. I can't remember why anymore. But either way, his slot made an open one available and I was quick to take up that offer.
So now I'm an admin. They had the power the ban people, had access to all commands, and could build in areas like shops or the spawn areas.
One day the admin who I knew irl and I are on the phone talking while we play and he starts telling me about some new changes the owner wants to put in. Basically making it so that people would have to pay for even more things. The owners attitude had shifted too. The server was supposed to be for fun but with it growing more and more popular he realized how profitable it was to have a whole bunch of teenage boys using their allowence on leveling up.
The day the straw broke was when the owner messages all of us and let's us know we have to pay a fee to be admins and that if he wasn't payed by the end of the month we would be demoted. The fact my family computer even had Minecraft was amazing (it was cheaper back then, granted. It was a present for my little brother but he lost intrest once he realized the controls were hard, so I took the liberty of playing it instead)
But either way, I was not paying this dude five bucks to to work for him. My irl friends wasn't either. So we decided while we had our admin priveleges we would destroy the place. We ruined spawn, the shops, pretty much everywhere only admins could fix. And as admins we spent HOURS on those areas.
People were pissed and eventually this guy messages all of us admins and basically says if the person who did it doesn't own up, we were all banned. Him and I proudly owned up. We were banned. but around a week later he shut the server down. So I don't think I really lost.
I can't remember the server name but I think it had 'thunder' in the name. if you played on a money hungry server in I wanna say 2014 or 2015, that had thunder in the name, and was shut down after everything was destroyed by two rouge admins. That was me.
So yeah that's probably the meanest.
Around the same time there was this service that let you make your own servers easily. The thing is, it was easy to predict its algorithm.
Meaning, we could easily get into servers people didn't publically broadcast as existing, and mess things up.
Often these servers would be for friend groups and stuff and a lot of times we'd log in and since it wasn't for the general public, we'd be able to ban people from the servers they payed to start. That and ruin their houses, of course.
2014–2015 Minecraft was rutheless sometimes and only the strongest survived.
