Third Person POV

Everyone stared at Percy as he shared his story. It had taken a long time, but after a while he seemed to fall into the pattern of his life. He didn't tell them about Tartarus. Just that he fell into the pit. All of them looked at him with appreciation. This kid had saved the world twice.

Natasha stared at her nephew. A small frown creased her face. Poor kid. Everyone around the room had similar sentiments. This kid had lived through battles and he was still just a kid.

Fury looked at Percy. "How would you like to train with the avengers?"

Fury was not asking. Percy Jackson was a kind, but he was also a potential threat. If there were demigods on the loose than he would have to gain this demigod's trust and understand how they work. It was why SHEILD was invented. To monitor potential threats and stop threats.

Natasha was a potential threat that turned into an asset. The question was- was Percy Jackson going to be a threat or an asset? The kid just saved his life, but Fury was still suspicious. You did not survive for as long as he did without being suspicious. The last time he trusted someone they cut out his eye. (When you find out the truth about his eye in Captain Marvel, this statement becomes hilarious.)

Percy stared at Fury and then shrugged.  "Sounds fun," Percy said.

Fury's lips twitched a little.  Before going back to a straight line.  "Training room, Natasha test his combat skills.  Clint test his archery skills."  Percy's face scrunched up.  Fury glanced up to see Percy's face.  He nodded back to to Bruce.  Natasha noticed Percy's scrunched up face and hid a smile.  "Bruce will give you a check-up."

"No," Percy said immediately.

"No?" Fury looked at Jackson with a raised eyebrow.  "Are you saying no to training or to the check-up."

"The check-up," Percy said.  He looked over at Bruce apologetically.   "You seem like a pretty cool dude, but I don't like going to doctors."  Percy did not want them to see the scares that marred his back.   The looks of pity he would receive.  No, Percy refused to be subjected to such treatment.

"Percy," Natasha said smoothly.  Percy put up a finger before Natasha can say something else.  Natasha merely looked at him raising an eyebrow.

"The answer is no."

"Percy," Natasha tried again.

"Your my aunt I get it, but you have no say.  It's my body and I decide how I want to treat it."

Tony snickered.   Bruce looked over at Tony.  "That's not what he meant."

"Boys will be boys," Natasha said.   Percy didn't understand what she meant until she pulled out a tranquilizer gun and shot it at him.  Percy stared in shock at the dart poking out on his chest.  He stared up at Natasha in disbelief.

"You shot me," Percy said.  The other avengers gaped at Natasha.

"You didn't have to shoot at the kid," Steve said.

"Tell me you weren't going to restrain Percy after a while of refusing.  I just saved you some time," Natasha said.

The world started going dark for Percy.   He slumped to the ground.   Fury nodded towards Natasha in approval.   He then turned to Steve.  "Bring him to the lab."

Steve got to work lifting Percy up and slinging him on his back.   Percy's legs dangled on Steve's shirt.  "Kid's light," Steve commented.

"I will make sure to check his weight," Bruce said.  Steve continued to proceed to the elevators.   Bruce looked down to the kid as the others got in behind him.  "I feel bad for the kid," Bruce said.  "I mean to go through wars when your just a kid and have that responsibility..."  Bruce cut off thinking.

"Watching his friends die," Steve finished.

"Sucks," Tony said.

"It does, but let's not forget that he is dangerous," Fury interjects.

"Potentially," Clint agrees.

"If my nephew is anything like me than yes he is dangerous," Natasha said.  A smile curving her lips for a moment, but then curving back down when she looked at Percy's face.

Natasha had not known Percy for that long, but through his stories she felt like a kinship grow.   She knew something about growing up to fast.

The elevator doors opened up.  They entered the lab. "We need to weigh him," Bruce said.   They set forth to weighing the boy.

"One hundred and twenty three pounds.  Bad for people his height," Bruce said.

Fury had left the room stating that he would come back, but had to go work.   They got the measuring tape and got his height by him laying down vertically.

Bruce got two small vials or Percy's blood.    He then proceeded to check his blood pressure and heart rate.   When he was doing that he noticed a few scars that marred his arms.  "Scars," Bruce muttered.   Bruce lifted up the boys shirt and was horrified.

"Bruce," Steve protested at first.   He went silent when he saw Percy's front.   It was littered with scars.

Tony looked dejectedly at Percy.  "What happened to you kid."

They flipped him around and viewed his back.  "It's even worse than his front," Steve said.

"Hey guys I don't think he would like us viewing something so personal," Bruce said.

"Percy would not tell us if we did not push," Tony said.

Natasha and nodded in agreement.  Steve looked a little unsure.  "The kid went through a traumatic experience.  Of course he would not be open to share," Bruce said.

Natasha looked down at her phone.  We know you have Percy Jackson.  Let Percy Jackson go or else.

Natasha looked at Tony. "I need you to try to hack my phone."

Tony looked at Natasha in disbelief. Tony glanced at her phone. His mouth opened in surprise. "I will get right on that."

"What's going on," Bruce said.

"Someone somehow got Natasha's number and wants Percy Jackson," Tony said.

"Let's secure the perimeters. Someone alert Fury. We don't know who we are dealing with here," Steve said.

All of them rushed in a hurry. Bruce looked down at Percy who lay vulnerable. His eyes began to open. He was going to hate himself for this, but now there was someone threatening Percy's life. He restrained Percy.
