It’s been two weeks since I started living under the shade of Shadow Crane’s hideout. They all delightfully welcomed me without any awkwardness nor question about my identity. They even have their own rooms in the hideout, and because Anikka is Noah’s partner and they are sleeping together.

Good dog.

Ayoko silang makita.

I immediately went to Shadow Crane’s hideout and saw Noah on the way. He gave me a mischievous grin, making me rolled my eyes at him.

“The runaway princess,” he mumbled.

“This is stupid,” I commented as he opens the door.

I bid goodbye to Noah before going outside. In the midst of the dark sky, I found myself walking to the side of Madow, and the man waiting for me envelops himself with the brilliance of the moon.

“Lexie… Are you still not going home?” My brother asked.

I gave him a tiny smile and brood at the horizon, “It is better this way. Hindi ka ba nila hahanapin?”

“I don’t care if they will look for me…” He mumbled. My brother wore his somber expression and gently pulled for a hug, “But you really surprised me… Hindi rin alam na ikaw si Amethyst.”

“Well… Dad knows it…”

“That’s unfair. But I don’t care if who you are dahil para sa akin, ikaw pa rin ang bunsong kapatid ko—”

“We have the same age?”

“I am five months ahead of you.” I laughed at him because of the way he argues.

It is a good thing that everything is still cool with my brother. I gently closed my eyes and tightly hugged him.

“I miss him…”

“I miss him too… “Don’t give me that look, moron. Both of our safety is important,”

“I can protect myself.”

He squinted his eyes at me and parted the hug, “Mukha bang hindi ko rin kaya?” I pouted because of his response.

“Inaantok na ako. Bahala ka d’yan.”

And before I could leave him, he stops me by pulling my arm, “Umuwi ka na. Hinahanap ka ni Hunter.”
