It's Mother's Day! Or as I like to call it, "Mer-ther's Day"!
I decided to make my mother a seashell necklace with a real seashell that I found off the coast of Florida. Ugh I wish the string wasn't yellow but it's all we had. I would have preferred white or black but it'll have to do.

It looks small tied up but once tied around the neck, it fits pretty well. Also, it took FOREVER to try and get the string in between the hole of the seashell.
I found so many beautiful shells that day in Florida, I have a whole plastic bag full of them PLUS my shells from Canada and Mexico.
What are you guys doing for Mother's Day?
Also, was anyone born into a mermaid family? What do you guys usually do for events like today?
