so, uh, it's been a while, huh?

i guess i should explain what happened and update you guys on what i've been up to. it has been over two and a half years, after all.

first, what happened. truth be told, i was never supposed to have wattpad, much less talk to people over the internet. my mother just wanted to keep me safe. i'm not mad about it anymore, even though it stung at the time. this was my safe space, my happy place, after all. when she found out i had been roleplaying with "strangers" (i considered them friends), she took away my ipod and made me delete wattpad forever. i'm really not supposed to be here now, but i've missed this place.

i'm sorry to everyone i left behind. i know i've probably been forgotten since so much time has passed, but i just thought i'd pop in and say hello.

anyway, i'm still in love with theatre, but i've distanced myself from the fandom aspect of it and instead focused on participating in shows. i'm even going to try and pursue it in college (at least that's my plan). also, about a month after i left, my family surprised me with a phone and a trip to new york to see hamilton! i was ecstatic, as you can imagine, as i was still a huge hamilton fan at the time. it was an amazing experience, and stagedooring was so much fun. in the time since, i've also seen beetlejuice (rest in peace) and be more chill on broadway. i'm very lucky and fortunate for those experiences.

i've cycled through a few fandoms since i departed, voltron and my hero academia being the biggest ones. voltron was amazing up until the final few seasons and left me disappointed, so i've also left that fandom. (keith kogane is the only one i still love from that show, even though my favorite was always shiro.) i'm still very much into my hero academia, although the fandom is a bit of a nightmare. my favorite is iida, in case anyone was wondering. i've also become a very big simp for anime boys overall since quarantine has started. bungou stray dogs, ouran high school host club, and the seven deadly sins are some of my other favorites to watch. i also really love danganronpa, and i'm currently working my way through playing v3.

i also got a kitten this past christmas! her name is salem, seeing as she's all black, and she's the cutest troublemaker i've ever had the pleasure of having.

i hope you all are safe during this pandemic, by the way. i've been in online school for two months and i've left the house less than a handful of times for errands. please take care of yourselves!

so, after all this, i bet you can probably guess that i will no longer be writing in this book. i want to thank you guys so, SO much for the 100k+ reads. when i would check in on this book periodically, my eyes practically bulged out of my head. i never expected this trashy little fandom dump of mine to get this far. i am eternally grateful, and i'm glad you all have enjoyed my writing.

speaking of writing, i have been writing a bit on quotev. my username is @/heathencretin if you'd like to check it out, although i'll probably re-upload my books here, too.

i do really mean it when i say i've missed wattpad. i can't guarantee a comeback, but i'll at least try to say hello periodically if i can.

from the bottom of my heart, thank you again. for everything. i love each and every one of you.
