(This is kind of a Lovey-Platonic relationship between the reader and da Boissss. And as always, We're going soft. S.E. Hinton can strangle me for making her boys girly if she wants, but I need serotonin right now... for more info read my update on where I've been. Anyways Let's dive into this.)

I was knelled on the lawn of the church losing my lunch. My head had been pounding since the second day we got this.

"God-d-" I choked, trying to get the last of my throw up out. Johnny was holding my hair back and looking away from what was coming out. All while Ponyboy was talking about how my forehead was looking swollen.

"Guys," I gasped leaning back and resting on my my palms. I could almost feel how pale I was as Johnny pressed a hand to my forehead. "I think I'm sick."

"Yeah we guessed as much," Pony sighed. "She needs a doctor John."

"No!" I exclaimed. "You take me to a doctor we're all done for. Straight to jail with all of us!"

I made my way back to my knees and threw up vile. My head throbbed with each gag and choke, but I couldn't stop. Johnny reached to pull my hair back but I was finally done. The two of them helped me inside to lay on one of the rotting pews whispering about what to do the whole time.

Exhaustion took over my body as memories from nights ago crept into mind. Ponyboy tossed a blanket over me and half asleep I pulled it closer to me.

I could hear the words faintly..."you know what a soc is?" Then came all the action. I got in a few swings before they shoved me underwater opposite of Ponyboy. My head hit the stone once before the fountain filled with blood that I had mistaken for my own at first.

Exclamations of Dally's name ripped me right from my feverish sleep and caused me to shoot up, sending a throbbing pain to my right temple.

"What's wrong with the kid?" he asked as he watched me clutch my head along with the rail of the pew.

"I think shes got a concussion or something," Johnny said, "She keeps throwing up and saying her neck and head hurt."

Dal put a finger under my chin and examined my face before asking, "You good kid?"

I nodded and before he could protest I swallowed him in a big hug.

"I missed you," I breathed in his scent of nicotine and cheap cologne. "Those two stink."

"Oh that reminds me," Dallas tore me away and reached into his jacket pocket to get a letter Sodapop had sent for Ponyboy.

I couldn't help but smile at the way his face lit up when he saw it was from Soda. For a moment my head didn't seem so bad, but the next I was running out the door to get to the grass again. Still nothing but vile, I had thrown up everything I had eaten, which made Dally suggest we go get some other food besides bologna.

He rubbed my shoulders after opening the backseat door for me. "Yeah man maybe you'll feel better with some real food in you."

I fell asleep with my head on Pony's lap on the way there and I could hear them getting the food, but I felt to weak to sit up and eat so they just let me sleep and said I could eat later today when I felt like it. But Dally made me promise him I would eat.

I woke back up to a kid's screams, bright flames, and Dally yelling at Pony to get back in the car. I opened my eyes and sat u to see my former head rest running into the church that had gone up in flames. I looked to Johnny who was following in suit starting with opening his door.

I groaned as I wanted to lay my head back down and squeeze my eyes shut tight, but then I heard kids screaming and I couldn't just sit here. Dallas grabbed hold of my wrist as I jumped over the car door and cursed when I wriggled out of his grip.
