"Now, open!" Colby said. I smiled and opened my eyes, looking around the apartment.

"Oh my god I love it!" I said as I walked around, looking at the empty apartment. "The best part is, Sam is my neighbor and Jake lives down the hall over there!" He said pointing to the left.

"I like it! It's not super far away, you're still close to Jake and Sam, all that good stuff." I said as I walked down the hall and looked in the bedroom.

I looked at the bathroom and stuff before walking back out.

"When are you moving in?" I asked as I walked back out to the living room part.

"I think next week. We have to get everything packed up from the house and stuff like that." He said making me nod understandingly.

-time skip-

We walked into the trap house, carrying the flattened boxes up the stairs.

We took them into Colby's room and put a couple together. "Ok! So we'll put shirts in this one, pants in this one, shoes in this other one, and then we'll figure out some more stuff as we go on." I said.

"Ok!" Colby shrugged before we started folding up and putting clothes in boxes.

As we were packing up, listening to music.

One of my songs came on from Colby's playlist and I rolled my eyes as he stood up, grabbing his hairbrush and imagining it as a microphone.

Watching him sing couple of kids made me think of some good ass lyrics.

"I gotta go!!" I said jumping up and grabbing my keys. "Give me a notebook, now!" I said.

"Creative juices flowing??" He asked as he handed me a notebook and I started writing.

"If I don't write these down now, I'll forget them literally forever." I said, continuing to write.

"You wanna ride?" Colby asked with a soft smile.

"Please." I said, giving him puppy dogs eyes.

He smiled and we walked downstairs, me almost running into everything as I literally just kept writing.

We got in his car and he turned on the radio.

"Here's a first! This song hasn't been aired yet, so we wanted to bring it to you guys. This is, Pretty Girl, by Anaya Wilson!" The radio said making my head shoot up.

I looked at Colby as the music started playing. "Bullshit!" I said making Colby laugh.

I got my phone out and texted our group chat the channel before recording.

"Guys I'm on the radio!!!" I screamed as Colby laughed and turned the music up. "Oh my god I'm shaking!! No fucking way!!" I yelled.

I posted it on Instagram before checking and seeing me tagged in a bunch of story's and posts.

"I'm on the radio!!" I yelled out the window to the person next to us. "That's you!?" The girl asked. I nodded, smiling brightly. "Congrats dude!" She said before reaching over and high fiving me.

I smiled as we separated and went to my apartment.

I unlocked the door and we walked upstairs. Once we got inside my apartment I quickly ran to my desk in my bedroom and just started writing.

As I wrote I hummed, thinking about the melody and tune and all that stuff.

I then moved in my rolling chair and went to my piano, putting my song book on it and grabbing my guitar.

I messed around with the chords, trying to find something that fit it perfect which I did end up finding that.

I then sang it to myself before sighing and sitting back.

By the way, it wasn't that easy, it took me about four hours.

My phone rang from my desk, so I wheeled back over to my desk and grabbed my phone, answering it while setting my guitar on its stand.

My manager picked up.

"Dude!! I didn't even know they were gonna put you on the radio!!" She yelled. "Really!?" I asked.

"Yes!! But I did get you another gig in a month at the Hollywood bowl." She said.

"Really!? The Hollywood bowl!???" I asked. "Yes ma'am!! Also I hope you have some new things for us!" She said. "You have no idea what I've been through the past four hours. I literally have a song that I just wrote right in front of me." I said.

"Awesome!! Are we releasing it or is it a surprise song?" She asked. "Surprise song!" I said.

-another time skip-

I smiled as Colby crawled on top of me, resting his head softly on my chest.

"Sing to me?" He asked as we cuddled.

I smiled before thinking of a song and singing it.

"Hey there, Delilah
What's it like in New York city?
I'm a thousand miles away
But, girl, tonight you look so pretty
Yes, you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear, it's true
Hey there, Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
What you do to me
Hey there, Delilah
I know times are gettin' hard
But just believe me, girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good
Hey there, Delilah
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
And we'd just laugh along because we'd know
That none of them have felt this way
Delilah, I can promise you
That by the time that we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you're to blame
Hey there, Delilah
You be good, and don't you miss me
Two more years and you'll be done with school
And I'll be makin' history like I do
You know it's all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there, Delilah, here's to you
This one's for you
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
What you do to me, oh oh, woah, woah
Oh woah, oh
Oh"

I sang as I ran my fingers through Colby's hair, closing my eyes and feeling the words slip off my tongue.

Once I stopped I looked at Colby who was sleeping. I smiled and cuddled closer, falling into a peaceful sleep.
