my kind of woman by mac demarco

finn wolfhard and y/n l/n were joined at the hip. they weren't complaining though.

he was once again, glaring at her from across the room. she was studying for her biology exam that she knew she was going to flunk anyways. finn's pencil was in between his teeth, the cheap paint staining the bottom of his front teeth. he wrote his feelings into the book on his lap.

oh baby, oh man,
you're making me crazy,
really driving me mad.

finn thought about all of the times she had
made him practically insane and stupid.
but she always made him feel some
euphoric way.

but that's all right with me.
it's really no fuss.

he thought of all the times she stuck by him,
getting him through thick and thin. being
together was a routine and breaking it would cause a disaster.

as long as you're next to me,
just the two of us.

finn included the words that spiralled through his brain every time he saw, thought and
heard her.

you're my, my, my, my kind of woman.

she felt his stare at the side of her face and turned to him. "writing a song?
what's it called?" y/n put the pencil behind her ear and pulled out a green highlighter to underline all the important points that couldn't seem to get into her head.

and i'm down on my hands and knees,
begging you please baby,
show me your world.

"that's for me to know and for you to find out."
he wore a shit eating grin on his face. y/n gasped and threw a book at him. it hit him in the shin and he groaned, pulling in his leg and tucking it under his body. his bed seemed unusually big. maybe he just wanted her to lay in it.

he felt tired of moping around, whining to all of his friends that she would never be his.

oh brother, sweetheart.
i'm feeling so tired, really falling apart.

and he thought about how she would never leave his side. she always picked him over anything and he was her first priority.

and it just don't make sense to me.
i really don't know,
why you stick right next to me,
or wherever i go.

he really did like her.

you're my, my, my, my kind of woman.
my, oh my, what a girl.
you're my, my, my, my kind of woman.
and i'm down on my hands and knees,
begging you please, baby!
show me you're world.

he didn't know she felt the same.
