a year had passed after y/n had lost. a year since finn lost his girlfriend to depression. he felt stupid for not being there for her when she needed him. he was always on tour or in a different country and she was home alone, by herself, with her thoughts.
finn never knew she felt how she did. y/n never seemed sad. she was always so happy and smiley. it hurt so bad.
finn took the greyhound to seattle, the place she wanted to visit her whole life. something about seattle dragged her interest there. he had bought two tickets last september before her passing. calpurnia had their next show there, where they would play at the neptune. y/n had always wanted to perform there too.
but finn wanted to go home. he felt sick. he was depressed, out of wack and never talked to anyone often, mainly in his own little world, one where y/n is still there, alive and in his arms. he felt nothing anymore. finn was tired.
"today's show is dedicated to y/n. it's been one year and we miss her very deeply." jack spoke for finn, who stood up front, weakly strumming the strings on his guitar. "i hope she's doing well up there." ayla smiled hopefully towards finn who looked back and glared at her, live in his eyes.
they played her favourite song, where finn had almost felt like he would start crying. he would be thinking of her, when the lights went on. that was her favourite part of the show; the start.
"i miss you, y/n." he smiled weakly into the microphone as the crowd frowned.
