They say the more you asked for something, the more it will come far on your fingertips.

My hand's shaking because of the letter and to the one-way tickets in my hand. I can feel my heart pumping so bad inside my chest! Ang sakit sa dibdib mabasa ang hawak-hawak ko ngayon!

"Princess, let's go ea--" Papa didn't even finished his sentence when I faced him and showed him what I was holding! There's a goofy smile a while back but now, his eyes filled with blank slate!

"What the hell is this, Pa?" I asked. Even it's reallu obvious what it was.

I was expecting a great answer from him! Oh, my God, we've been here since I was born in this world then after almost twenty years, babalik kami sa Pilipinas?! No, I'm not hating that country but... this all went too pretty quick!

He didn't even asked me or told me about this! "Tickets?" He said, annoying me.

"But Pa, this is one-way! What do you mean?" Nilibot ko ang tingin sa paligid namin. "And don't you try to say that we'll leave this big house! We spent a loynof memories here! You spent a lot!"

My chest is heaving in pain and confused. Hindi ako makapaniwala na kung kailan nakauwi si Papa from Russia because of his business, malalaman ko na sa Manila na kaming titira?!

I'm not hating on it but how am I gonna think when it all went quick!? Sana man lang sinabihan niya ako na uuwi pala kami! At hindi na babalik!

"What's wrong with this house? Our house is much bigger there, princess. This is nothing to what I built to that country.." Kinuha niya ang tickets sa akin kahit muntikan ko ng hindi ibigay sa kaniya! "And you'll have a bigger opportunity there, don't you want that?"

Kung pwede lang talaga umalis na kaagad, gagawin ko! But I know how he gets mad kaya hindi ko na ginawa! Nakabusangot lang ako habang naglalagay siya ng pagkain sa plato ko.

"Tell me about what your plans, then." I said. "You know that I can't say no to you, Pa. So sabihin mo na lang kung anong plano mo para makapag ready na ako."

"What do you want to know?"

"Why are we moving out?"

"I hate here," he simply said. "It only reminds me of your lolo." He rolled his eyes! Oh, great! How could I forget that he has hatred with my Lolo? I do want to but damn, he's already in heaven! Can't he just forgive him to let his soul in peace?

"And?" I pretend like I didn't heard that. "Why so suddenly?"

"This plan isn't a sudden plan, hija. Matagal ko na 'tong pinag-uusapan. I've been giving you clues about it, you're just prioritizing your friends over me."

"Well, I don't know that was clues, Pa. Sorry naman," I rolled my eyes.

"But still, this is too sudden! And Pa, I'm graduating next year! Hindi ba puwedeng next year na lang? Can't you wait until I graduated here?"

He put down his fork and spoon, "Don't you think I didn't think that? I already did. But we can't make this more longer, hija. Our house will surely be a place for ghosts kung hindi pa tayo uuwi. And besides, I already talked to the UW so you can take your last year there and graduate, too."

Parang navubutan ako ng tinik sa narinig. Oh my God! UW!? That's my dream school at the Philippines! Dati ko pang pangarap iyon kung sana doon kami nakatira! But my Papa's a citizen here and he chose to take care of me here kaya wala akong choice kundi sa Frillion mag-enroll!

"Tell me that you're not kidding me?" I have a big smile on my face. The feeling I have a while ago is gone now! "Are you really sure? You're not lying to me about UW?"
