Mabilis na umawang ang labi ko sa narinig. Not because I don't like what he just said but when he said that it his parents… nanlamig bigla ang tiyan ko ngayon.

Jaehyun squeezed my hand harder, "You can still say no to that offer, doll. I know you're shocked, too."

Kahit hindi sinabi ni Mark o pinahalata noong sinasabi niya ang buhay ni Jaehyun, alam ko na hindi maganda ang kalagayan nilang pamilya. Dagdag pa ang narinig ko sa kanila ni Don noon.

Were they talking about his family since Don mentioned 'Grandad' in their conversation? I thought, so.

"Why do you want me to say no?" I know I can't force him to say what really matters, or why is he scared that his parents will visit him but with the help of his eyes, nalalaman ko.

I don't want to judge but who sends their son here just to build a company? When they can just stay there? I think it's cruel! My Papa will surely won't do that to me!

Isang nakakabinging katahimikan ang nanaig sa aming dalawa. "Do you want to come?"

With hesitant voice, "Of course! Una ko pa lang silang makikita and you said na they want to meet me?" I asked. "Then it's better to come and not turn them down! I want them to like me!"

But he still hasn't convinced to what I said. "Bakit? Ayaw mo ba akong makilala ng magulang mo?" May bahid ng sakit ang boses ko nang sabihin iyon.

What kind of parents are his? Strikto ba? Matapobre ba? Kaya ganito siya umarte ngayon? He's just putting bad seeds in my mind of his parents.

"It's not like that.. I'm just.. protecting you." Mahina niyang agap.

With the help of my other hand, I put it above his hand and smiled. "As long as the storm can't bring us down, I'll come and face your family. I want too meet the ones who made you now, Jaehyun."

Still, no response from him.

Kahit papaano, napapayag ko si Jaehyun na pumunta ako sa event na gagawin niya para sa pagpunta ng parents niya. He told me that there will be a party and it will start before lunch!

Okay naman iyon sa akin dahil walang pasok siya gagawin pero ang problema, paano ako aalis sa bahay na hindi napapansin ni Papa na nakaayos ako?

Alam ko na tatanungin niya ako kung saan ang punta ko, I can make excuses but that all will be lame lang! Lalo na't almost late na siyang pumapasok sa building!

Jaehyun sent me an invitation the day after. Nalaman ko na kailangan may dress code na sundin. Kaya pag-uwi ko galing school ay nagpunta na ako kaagad sa closet ko.

I rummage with my things, looking for a color na dapat kulay ng dress code! But I tried looking for everything pero wala akong nakita!

Meron nga but iba naman ang kulay! Nakaukit sa invitation na dapat ganoon ang kulay kahit hindi naman kasal ang gagawin! I want to ask Jaehyun kung anong meron sa kulay pero hindi ko na binalak!
