"Aren't you excited?" I asked in between fixing my baby hairs.

Papa's forehead creased because of that. Gusto kong matawa dahil parang hindi niya in-eexpect na sasabihin ko iyon. "Why would I?"

"Anong why would I e hindi ba ikaw lang nag-ayos ng rooms nila dito?" I'm portraying about his works on how to do their rooms here kahit na one week lang naman magsstay iyong dalawa.

"It's because they are your friends, it's my job since I'm your father." Simple niyang sagot sa akin.

Instead of answering, I just chuckled and checked my phone. Eleven daw sila makakalapag and I doubt na eleven talaga, probably 12 ay makakalabas na sila due to immigration.

When the clock strikes ten fifty, nagpaalam na ako sa kaniya. Kuya Nori's waiting na outside kaya agad din akong sumakay at sinabi na sa aiport kami magpunta.

"Ah, Kuya Nori, I don't know if nasabi na sa'yo ni Papa pero susunduin natin iyong dalawa kong kaibigan from States." Sabi ko. "Baka maghintay tayo ng almost thirty minutes bago sila makalabas."

I'm just making sure since baka hindi pa sinasabi sa kaniya ni Papa iyon. He was too busy fixing the guest rooms that he might forgot to tell our driver about that.

"Okay lang po Ma'am.." Aniya sabay sulyap sa akin sa rearview.

"Sure! Thank you!" I said before going back to my seat. I ended up calling Jaehyun just to tell him about my plans today.

"So, you're in airport already?" He asked on the other line. I can hear an on going conversation around him, business pa rin kahit malapit na ang Christmas sa kanila.

I looked outside, nasa road pa lang kaming dalawa pero natatanaw ko na iyong mga bumababang eroplano sa kalayuan.

"Not yet but almost! I can't wait to meet them again.." It's been almost months and months since I last saw them. Last na nga naming pag-uusap is noong bago pasukan.

We never talked when school's going on since sure naman na busy talaga kaming tatlo due to graduating kaming lahat.

But that's okay. Alam ko naman na pressured na rin sila sa Frillion dahil tradition na ata sa school na iyon na kapag nagkamali ka, there's no turning back.

"Will I see you today?" Malambing nitong sabi sa akin.

"Not sure... Baka magdamag akong kasama sila.. Okay lang naman sa'yo, right?" Tanong ko pabalik.

"Of course, just update me what's happening and I'm all good."

Natapos ang usapan namin nang makarating kami sa airport. I stayed inside the car since i-uupdate naman ako ni Phil or ni Ces kung nandito na silang dalawa.

Kuya Nori's casually banging his head to the music from the stereo while me, looking outside, checking every faces going out.

I didn't know what happened on waiting game but as soon as I saw their pale skins and colored hair, agad akong bumaba sabay salubong sa kanila!

"Caelene! We missed you!" Phil said that in between hugs.

Namumuo ang mga luha sa mata ko habang yakap yakap ko sila. Grabe... wala pa akong one year dito sa Pilipinas yet it feels like I already spent ten years here!

"How's life? UW's more difficult than Frillion?" Nandito na kami sa kotse at nasa likod kaming lahat. Dapat sa shotgun seat ako but I missed them too much to seat on that kaya nagpagitna na lang ako sa kanila.

Ces was busy looking outside, her blue eyes are glistening due to the sun and it's breathtaking to see. "I would say, Frillion's still the hardest." amin ko sabay tawa.
