Alice brought her sister into and embrace as their mother concocted the ingredients necessary for the potion to put them under until things begsn to change once more. "Don't worry. We'll see each other again." Theodora whispered into her sister's ear as she laid down into the casket and closed the lid with a small vial of the potion within her grasp. She took a sip and then the full vial. As the liquid ran down her throat, she felt an overhwelming sense of calm and a sense of release.

Alice let out a shuddering breath as the casket closed for what would eventually be thousands of years. "Mother, will this liquid kill me?"

Maleficent smiled slightly and chuckled elegantly. "No, dear. This will put you into the heaviest sleep you've ever had and it will last until Edmund and Peter stumble up and kiss you to awaken you." Alice nodded her head and took the vial. She laid down into the second casket and held the vial close to her lips.

"Mama, will you disappear again?"

"I'll never truly be gone. You see me in every bird, every star, and you'll feel me right," Maleficent pointed to her daughter's heart. "Here. I'll always be with you, my sweet girl." Maleficent gently caressed her cheek and patted it. "Now, hurry. The others cannot find you here." The ground rumbled as she spoke causing Alice to panic. "Sweet, I must go. Take care of yourself and your sister when you both awaken. I love you."
