Thank you all so much for reading my story! I've decided to end it as I have because I don't want to knock out an ending without putting my heart into it. I had to take a break due to poor health (chronic condition) and that gap made writing difficult. When I returned, I found that too much time had gone by and my flow was interrupted. I also found that as an inexperienced writer, I'm not quite sure how to end the story effectively, so, my plan is to make a book 2 of this story in the near future.
I really do appreciate all of your support, encouraging words, favourites and other engagements with this story. Every single one of you has boosted my confidence and given me something to look forward to!
I plan to continue writing other stories soon (both for AoE/Mephisto and other fandoms) in the hopes of improving my writing :)
