S i x t e e n

J woke up first and looked over at wonwoo who was still sleeping. He looked so gentle and J observed how his eyelashes laid so perfectly on his face. It hit her right then and there that they were actually sleeping in the same bed. They were just friends and all so she didn't know why the realization was just now coming to her. The thoughts were all pushed away when she noticed wonwoo beginning to tremble a little in his sleep. There were teardrops on his still closed eyes and he was frowning and sweating a little. J stared at him not knowing what to do until wonwoo abruptly got up and let out a huge sigh putting his hand on his chest. He looked down at J who was barely blinking.

"Did-did I wake you?" He asked in a different from his usual voice.

"No-no I've been awake. Are you okay?" She unconsciously put her hand on his shoulder making wonwoo flinch.

"Just a dream." Wonwoo got up and headed to the bathroom leaving J on the bed.

Wonwoo stared into the mirror and he noticed he was still shaking a little. He put his hands on the sink and closed his eyes. He hated the nightmares more than anything.

Wonwoo had already gone downstairs and after J got dressed she was walking down looking at her phone when she stumbled on the last step and almost fell.

"YAH! You scared me, be careful." It was Joshua with a hand on his chest.

"Sorry, it's chan. Felix is coming today! I'm so excited." J smiled as wide as she could.

Wonwoo rolled his eyes and they all headed outside to the cars. They were all messing around until wonwoo yelled at them to stop. He was a little grouchy this morning. They got to school and all headed inside while the whispering around them grew louder. J didn't care. She just wanted to see felix and Chan. As soon as she saw chan and felix standing by the lockers she ran as fast as she could and the gang stared at her running off. She hugged felix and hard as she could and they both started squealing. Wonwoo picked up his pace towards them to stop them from hugging but he stopped when he realized he had no place doing that.

"Let him go chubz, you're gonna suffocate the poor guy on his first day." Chan was laughing.

"Wah. I'm so glad you're here." J finally let go and couldn't stop smiling at her friend.

"Welcome back." Coups smiled as they reached the three friends and felix just nodded a little and looked uncomfortable.

"Sit by me and chan in class, okay?" J grabbed felix's arm and started walking towards their class. Felix nodded.

They all sat in their usual seats and felix sat in front of J and Chan close by. They were all content where they were sitting.

"How do you feel being back lix?" J asked and Wonwoo along with minghao both flinched at the nickname.

"It's great so far! I'm glad to be here with you guys." He turned around facing her and Chan.

"We'll be here if you need help with anything, just come to us." J smiled warmly and felix nodded.

Nabz came in and looked at the gang before smiling at J who smiled back and nabz sat down. J was happy that things were somewhat better between them. Even though she didn't show it, J hated being distant with her close friends.

"We have a new student with us, or a returning student better put." Their homeroom teacher announced. "Come on up and introduce yourself."
